Sounds like you guys had a pretty great time. Glad to hear that it went well. I'd love it if they were to come to the states (new york, possibly, as it's not that far) but I don't have my hopes set too high for that. ^_^
I'll look forward to seeing any pictures and stuff that anyone has, as I'm sure it was a wonderful time!

It was a dodgy bar hahaha. People will start and talk though, Grant and Wex, alone, in a "dodgy" bar in London

Good fun though
It was great to meet the forum people, I travelled hundreds of miles, to sit on a couch and play LBP, but I couldn't have done it with wex, jack and MM if I hadn't. It was well worth the travel and expense.
It's a shame I didn't realise who shermzor and dan were until the very end. Bu there's always next time

Yer I was just semi sleeping on the giant fatboy beanbags at the end. It'd been a busy day and then the table scattered us all around the room so I couldn't really talk to many people again

OK I'm finally back home after a short detour to the pub to cure my sore head from last night

Like I said earlier, Jackofcourse and I had about a half hour each on the PSP version, both in create mode and playing unrestricted single player. I think the other PSP's had only two levels to play. It turned out we were playing the personal copy of the level designer for the Cambridge Studios
There was quite a few levels on the local moon that me and jack played, obvisouly we we'nt supposed to. I played three tutorial levels that went from basic to advanced, and a few concept ideas that were really cool.
You all obviously know that its only two planes. But the graphics are really good, I don't think videos and screen shots actually do it justice, to see it motion personally its fantastic, they've captured the look and feel perfectly. Also, the level designers are really good, the few levels I played had loads of fresh stuff in them, both me and jack commented we would steal them for our own before the game got released and no one would know
I was taking to a few of MM about it, and they, and I, were very impressed by how they managed to fit the physics engine into the PSP. Its exactly like the PS3 version, everything works and acts as well as it does in its older brother
The create mode was VERY impressive, and something I wanted to see. Although it was quite fiddly to get used to at first, I imagine it will become second nature like the PS3 version. With only having two shoulder buttons, once controls the thickness, and the other the position in the planes, it took 10 mins but I got used to it in the end. Also, Dark Matter does'nt exist in the PSP version, when you place a block of material in the level, you get the choice of it being static or physics based. Obviously when you choose static, its the same as glueing or pinning with DM. It will make things a lot easier and more thermo freindly. Also, pistons start stiff, which is full of win. And, instead of putting one speaker for a category of sounds, and choosing the sound from the tweak menu, the psp version had a seperate page for sounds, you went through categorys and choose the sound you wanted, and it appeared straight away, which I thought was a good improvement.
All of the materials I saw were new, even the basic set were different. Some of the stickers were repeated from LBP, but most of the good ones anyway.
I wish I had a bit more time to play with it actually, but its looking very good, and MM told me they had done an excellent job with it, so thats praise enough I guess

Thanks!

I did'nt see any actually Zwol, I got the psp handed to me once the level had loaded the first time (perhaps on purpose). Then Jack handed it to me a couple of times, so maybe he's better to comment?
They did say you could download as many levels as your PSP could hold to play on the go, then when you reconnect it would upload your rating and score etc to the servers, I was curious how it would handle that, but they had it sorted.

I hope they patch that into the PS3 version. I'm getting sick of placing dark matter triangles all over the place...Also, Dark Matter does'nt exist in the PSP version, when you place a block of material in the level, you get the choice of it being static or physics based. Yeah I panicked at first Compher then realised that its actually old news. There was no layers in the original version and Sackboy could go back and forth into the background and foregournd and he wished and the camera followed him at times. They removed it because it was'nt user freindly and really hard to make levels for. I edited it out and then realised that the old yellow concept video shows much the same thing lol.

Grant: Where you with stevenl too? Jack says he looks like a cross between gandalf and the Tin man from Oz. Which I find hilarious.

Good to see you had a good time. I still would be a bit shy to go and meet with people you know but do not know at the same time....
I usually imagine what people look like, but get it completely wrong.
I have a strong feeling my guess as to how you look like is quite accurate.
