I definitely can agree to the disappointment in recent sonic releases. My favorite Sonic game was Sonic Adventures on Dreamcast. I used to play that game through all the time especially with knuckles. My favorite level was the "Lost World."
I played a sonic game on the ps3 a year ago when I first got it and it was terrible. It makes me sad. :-( I don't have my dreamcast anymore so I can't play Sonic Adventures.

I agree a million times to new Sonic games. The last good Sonic game was Adventure 2 (Battle). I tried playing Heroes, and it sucked. I tried playing Shadow the Hedgehog, and I just couldn't do it (though I did preorder it and got a cool hat
). I haven't even tried any of the new ones, like Sonic 2006 or Unleashed. I just don't want to. Nothing can beat SA2(B).
Also, Smash Bros Brawl. The addition of Sonic and Snake kinda ruined it for me. And it just wasn't as good as Melee.
And don't forget Batman: Arkham Asylum. It was too short and once you beat it, all that's left are Riddler puzzles. Without maps, they're tedious. With maps, they're tedious but in 1/8 of the time.Ultimate Bundle achieved thanks to Burnvictim42.
Bards: They tend to be spoony.

Agreed with the new Crash Bandicoots, naughty dog ruled at making old crash good.
Also I prefer SR2 to GtaIV, much more enjoyable.

Heavenly Sword. It's just a colossal pile of crap.

wow one big hate thread!
GTA 4, it just was too serious.
Warhawk, It feels plastic and lonely to play. Seems no one takes it serious and you're just messing around.Zac

Just played L4D 2 demo and not really impressed. Melee weapons are too clunky and are much worse than pistols. Also the gameplay seems exactly the same as the first; the extra zombie types don't really do anything unique.

TWILIGHT!
PRINCESS!
I bet it's hard to make a game in the best series ever, but they didn't try ANYTHING new besides a few new uses for items. The Wolf parts were dreadful, good thing you almost never use the wolf after the three Twilight sections at the beginning.
I liked Windwaker's exploration. People say it was empty but there were islands EVREWHARE!
I thought it was fun!
Except the horrible part at the end where you had to collect all those Triforce shards. Who the **** thought that was a good idea?!?
Other than that, Half Life 2. I got it expecting what everyone told me, "the best FPS in history". What I got was just another mediocre linear shooter.

Well, it kinda depends when you played it. Back in 2004, it was quite the experience. It did a lot of things that hadn't really been done in games before, (realistic and detailed facial animations, good use of a well-implemented physics engine [the only time havok physics was used properly, in my opinion.], highly detailed visuals, etc.) and it did them pretty well. Now they've been done to death in a thousand new games that they've all lost the awesomeness they once had.
I dunno why you're complaining about it being linear, though. Open-ended gameplay isn't really something you should expect from a Half-Life game. All of them are very straightforward (save for some parts of Episode 2.)
HEY KIDS I HAVE MORE GAMEZ:
Turok (Xbox 360) - fffffff JESUS this game SUCKS. On top of being bland and boring, the developers somehow managed to screw up one of the simplest things about an FPS: THE CONTROLS. Jesus. It's impossible to aim at ANYTHING because of how screwed up the aiming is.
Dead Rising (Xbox 360) - Good god. Capcom somehow managed to take the perfect idea and completely drop the ball. Killing zombies is fun for about two seconds, the bossfights are excruciatingly cheap, I'm not going to talk about the survivors because that subject's a dead horse, The difficulty curve is insane until you reach the level cap, and the story progression, on top of being unconventional, is just stupid (you have to be HERE at THIS specific moment in time or you LOSE.)

You should have gotten MGS3: Subsistence, that one had better controls, plus a bonus disk with the MSX games that started the series.Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. What was hailed as one of PS2's crowning achievements actually featured what were possibly the most user-unfriendly controls and the most retarded camera system ever. Slow, boring, frustrating...what a load of total, utter pants!
I bought MGS3 alongside MGS4 a while back, as it was only £6 and I wanted to catch up on the series before playing the latest installment, but after half a day of spitting venom at my TV I quit playing MGS3 and never found the willpower to even try MGS4. It's gathering dust on my shelf now and the disc will probably never be taken out of the box. What a waste of money!
As for being slow, that's the point! What I like best about the whole stealth thing is that it's not about crazy shooting action, but about biding your time, setting up, waiting for the right moment to strike.LBP2 Tutorial: Stretch Objects To Any Height/Width Ratio

Silent Hill: Homecoming.
Having no option to invert the vertical camera axis killed this game for me. I suspect that the development team were actually a family of Mongolian tree frogs, since I can see no other reason for them not to provide such a simple option that's included in almost every other game these days. And please don't tell me I'll get used to it if I keep trying. It's like telling a right handed person to write with their left hand...it may be possible, but the result would be a shabby mess.
