Beginner Pack Overview

[Logic Pack]

The Beginner Pack is a pack of logic tools designed for Creators who are unfamiliar with logic and its nuances. Logic can be a difficult thing to understand, so we've specifically designed this pack to help those who are having trouble understanding what logic is and how it works. To play the Beginner Pack, simply search @LogicPack on the LittleBigPlanet servers and navigate to the Beginner Pack level.


Logic Tools
The Beginner Pack Vault, which is the level in which you can collect the logic we're offering, includes these five logic tools:

• Permanent switch
  
  • Forces something to remain in a certain state permanently.
  
  
• OR switch
  
  • Allows two different inputs* to trigger the same output*.
  
  
• AND switch
  
  • Requires two (or more) inputs to be active before the output activates as well.
  
  
• Delay switch
  
  • Creates a configurable delay between the activation of an input and the activation of an output.
  
  
• Switcher
  
  • Allows one input to switch between two outputs.
  
  

*An "input" is something that, when activated, triggers an output. An "output" is the event that occurs when the input is activated. For example, if you have a two-way switch connected to an LED light, the input would be the two-way switch, and the output would be the "turning-on" of the light. Once the input is activated, the output occurs - in this case, once the 2-way switch is activated, the LED turns on.


Tutorials
Along with the main Pack and the Vault, the Beginner Pack has three in-depth tutorials for you to dive into. They are as follows:

- Tutorial 1.1 - Your First Logic Network

- Tutorial 1.2 - Coordinating a Landslide

- Tutorial 1.3 - Designing a Basic Elevator

These tutorials are involving, requiring anywhere from thirty minutes to an hour or more of dedicated playtime to complete them. If you get stuck at any point during a particular tutorial, each one also has a copyable (yes, copyable!) companion level published on the LogicPack account, allowing you to copy it to your moon and pick it apart if you need to.

Just because you do not understand logic or a certain part of creating, does not mean you can't make your levels. Because we can now do online create, you can work with a friend to help make up for certain level creating skills you have trouble with. For example, ObsoleteXeo and myself are working on a level. I'm great at making logic and platforming or coming up with various solutions and logic, while he is great with artistic abilities, asthetics and general feeling to levels. So we work well together and will hopefully make a great level. (If we ever finish it.)

i dont know what facetious means but i will look it up after this cause now im curious. but before i do i make a predicition it means sarcasm.

And what i meant is its easy to do but just remembering everything is hard. i will get it though
