Thanks for the thanks taffy. I just realized how close we live. O.O I am like 30 minutes away from Santa Clara. Maybe farther.

I will try that illusion in my levels. It ROCKS.

Oh wow, small world! I'm right by Santa Clara University, which is pretty close to the San Jose airport.

    Taffey,

Played the level on BART going into San Fran.

I laughed, I cried, it became a part of me.

As my title suggests, you are my Inspiration Sensation.

Wow. Well, whaddya know... There it is. Totally unexpected! This all was really just kind of a goofy idea that became a level - I'm amazed at the response and can't believe it's been featured. Well... thanks!

Well, I can see your level is very popular!
When I searched for it, it had 447 hearts, and maybe 2500 plays, OMG!
When it is first found you see it only a 2 number on the plays, but when you press x, you see the 2500...

I am looking forward to play it!

    EDIT:

I played it, and it is awesome! Deserves all the plays and hearts!
Gave it 5* and a heart to the level and you!

AceCreator's "SuperSackball!" has been #1 on the Most Hearted list for quite a while, but "The Right Stuffing" has been slowly catching up over the past couple of months. This weekend I finally managed to take the top spot with over 1,900 hearts on 16,000 plays. It has far surpassed all of my PS3 creations in popularity, which still boggles my mind.

I just wanted to thank all of you here on LBPCentral for helping to make this level such a success. I couldn't have done it without you!

P.S. This has very much inspired me to start work on a new creation, and although it is not "Space Corps 4" I think you'll still enjoy it. I hope to release it soon as a token of my appreciation for all of you.

    Hey Taffey,

Those are some impressive statistics, and very much appropriate for the entertaining level you created. This was truly one of the landmark levels out there that pushed the standards of community levels on the PSP. Like Lleonard, I'm looking forward to playing and commenting on your next level!

    Oh no you di-int.

I don't have LBP on PSP, so I consider this a personal loss for me, and I will spend the rest of my evening in mourning (as well as its newer "sequel").

You know as well as anyone the extent to which I share your spacey tastes, and it also so happens that Tom Wolfe's The Right Stuff is one of my favorite books. It's one of the FUNNIEST books I've ever read, and totally and completely unforgettable. I don't know if I've ever read another book that comes up more for me in everyday life. His explanations of "single combat" and his descriptions of "that righteous stuff" are imprinted indelibly in my brainstem.

But your screenshots are fantastic, especially the shots of the evil doctor with the flood of pills. I also love what I'm assuming is the NASA offices of the 1950s and 60s. The wood paneling, the post-it notes and the white board, all awesome.

    Ah, yes I did!

I haven't read the book in many moons (pun intended), but the movie has been in my regular "rotation" for years. And yes, it is absolutely hilarious - but it's that kind of under the radar type hilarious that people either don't pay attention to or forget about. Kind of like how Robocop is really a comedy at its roots, but wears a very nifty sci-fi suit.

So anyway, yeah - the space race of the 50's and 60's. I have been jotting down notes for a level named "The Right Stuffing" since November 2008 when I bought LBP PS3 - ironic that I had to wait until the PSP release to finally push the launch button. It was a big leap of faith for me to depart from page-by-page realism and just go for goofy impressions, but it seems to have been the right decision.

Well, here's hoping that someday some pudknocker sells you a PSP on the cheap so you can enjoy a bit of portable LBP goodness.
