Hey I've gotten it pretty bad too, maybe even worse, from the golf competition. And another guy i think has gotten much worse than me (Barbed-wire I think it was)

I've gotten it hard because no one takes the time to practice with the golf mechanics. They just take a shot (while completly ignoring or not trying out the tutorial), miss horribly (or try to cheat), whine and leave. I remember seeing that so many times when i just wait at the start to watch how others do it during the testing days.

I think its because people keep thinking a level has to be ABSOULTLEY perfect in order to get a crown. They think thats the ONLY way to get a crown. Or its just simple pure jealousy

People do funny things when they're jealous of someone else. And they say pretty horrible things, too.

After I won my crown, I've been told on my youtube channel that my animation was the worst thing ever, and there was one message that was left that said something that I cannot even repeat here because of how many curses it had in it.

It is really a shame that people lash out this way.

I'd love to be nominated for one of these awards, but I'm not about to leave negative rep for something like that!!! the people who are winning are very deserving. They should be congratulated, not punished for it!

Things are better now than in the beginning of LBP when it was IMPOSSIBLE to get recognized.

That's all it is. No one but a complete moron would actually believe that wex is a complete n00b or that post-apocalyptic is not an incredibly well crafted level. It's just some malicious little oik using the anonymity of the internet to vent their frustrations. It's pathetic. Holy crap!! Wow, this came out of nowheres! I've been without internet for a while, but it seems every time I take a wee break from LBP, some new lovely surprise is waiting for me. I had a few messages, on PSN and here, saying "congrats on the crown" and I had NO IDEA what was going on.

This is absolutely awesome. Does this have anything to do with that "pick your top 3 best levels" thing that Mm wanted us to send them? Or are we still waiting on that? Perhaps that will be the grand "best level of the year" sackie? In which case, look out MrSuperComputer.

I also want to mention how happy I was to see my level amongst the awesome creations nominated for this category. These levels are all classics, and are amongst my all-time favorites.

Excellent choices, especially wex for the godly 1st person stuff, starcruiser, and from the videos I've watched now of anposteller's stuff it's pretty amazing, and The Movies is immemorial... but nattura's Lost Tomb of Anubis should be here somewhere... False Idols III

Yep... now that you're officially a crossover success story, we can first start saying that we knew about The Movies before everyone else, and then when you go in a different artistic direction that you personally enjoy doing but appears to be formulaic, Hollywood stuff that's just too polished, perfect and entertaining, we can then call you a sell-out and go back to playing Ramp which is now the new cool thing to do since no-one likes it anymore and bad becomes the new good.

Terrible... I read some about mdaj's levels too... why is this happening, and how can it be stopped? Maybe I should have Gruntos back mine up, because if they're ever moderated (not that they're known enough to be targeted or anything), there's NO back ups whatsoever.
