Elemental: Temple of Water by Shawneboi
The second level I've made in this series takes a slower pace than the Fire Temple. More puzzle driven, it requires the use of water to advance from chamber to chamber. I spent a lot of time trying to capture an Atlantis feel for level itself. Thanks

It's really hard to give a rate to this level. graphic 4 good, really polished, but not so much inspired. level design 4, I really like the hidden item, gameplay 4, relaxing and fast puzzles.
I don't know how to explain better, it's good but flat.

I really liked it! The decoration and lighting was really good, and the point bubbles were well arranged (kind of a big thing for me). The level did feel a little slow, but maybe that's because puzzle levels aren't really my thing. My one suggestion would be to put lights on the three balls you have to transport across through all the roman style columns, because it took me a while to figure out what to do there.
I didn't heart it because I'm not a huge fan of levels like this, but I gave it 5 stars because I could appreciate how well done it was.

I yet have to olay the fire temple, but its been a very massive week for me.
Ill keep it short as I am short of time allready!
First of all, I noticed you made all kinds of zelda levels, I think ive played some in the near past.
This must be good!
The visuals are nice, they have an oldskool zelda/secret of mana feel to them, I like it.
Though, I do suggest you should try more with diagonal shapes just to try them out, though this level does not need it!
The way you used the switches is nice, hiding them behind walls, on the ceiling nice.
Ooh a con.
The second room with the two floating lights,
one of my friends moved it a little (without the raised water) and got stuck by the right one.
after we raised the water he was unstuck.. but if he was 1p.. he could not continue.
to make it worse, when he tried to grab the light.. he kinda forgot what to do with it, and put it back on the exact same place..
The fellah was now stuck again because the light cramped itself in it without any way to move it.
we had to restart the level.
not a problem, I had some time that day.
Visually I am loving it.
The proximities on elevators might need some adjusting.. its kinda lame you have to stand dead centre to make them move.
Also, if you are halfway and one of the players jumps out.. the other one might get stuck.
cool puzzles, the water up and down one kinda remembered me a little about our own magpie puzzle.
Even though.. overall.. the level was fairly easy without to much to think about.
Visually Id give it 5 stars, but I really missed the feel of.. this is a real challenge.
so 4.5 stars (5 in game) tagged it pretty and hearted u and the level.
will play the rest when I got the time!
cheers!

Hi Shawneboi,
I tried your level and really loved it. The visuals were great, and I really enjoyed the use of switches and maze like puzzles. I particularly liked the section where you raise and lower the water to move the round key along the maze. I'd like to give more constructive feedback, but honestly, I can't think of anything I would change. It was really just brilliant. I did not find any glitches anywhere either.
Gave it 5 and hearted.
I'd appreciate if you could give some F4F on my level, Curse of the Golden Temple. My Levels: Mermaid Isle, Curse of the Golden Temple, Dog Bone Mystery, Ice Cream Delivery Sack (Honorable Mention in Sackcast Gadders Trial:Create)

Writing as i play
Single player:
Open the level and i'm standing in some water. Nothing to the left so i head right -- i might add a little something for those that walk left first
Walked right, hit the switches and the button then... what? Took me a while to see the switches since they blend in so well
I went through and hit both center switches, then dragged the blocks into place. Went up; it took me a minute to figure out how to do this puzzle, though it actually is quite inventive
Went left and flipped the switches to get to the next section. I rather liked the wheel though i might have added a "stone grinding sound" for it turning.
Went up the elevator to the right and found an interesting water puzzle. Went further to the right and up to reach the end.
Over all, another well-themed level with only a couple of small nitpicks. 5 stars + heart and Pretty tag.
Co-op coming soon!

Thanks for the update, took some of your suggestions. I moved the switches in the first room so they are more visible. If you go left in the beginning you may notice an opening above, which can reach after flooding the first room...but that's supposed to be a secret!

Big thanks to Rhyfelwr for the Sig and Avatar!

I liked the visuals. Well, it's not really my thing: never been into the whole temple theme, but that's just a matter of taste. The quality of the scenery is exceptional and well deserving of the 5 stars that your level has so far.
As for the puzzles, they just weren't.... puzzling. I mean you just go around flipping switches. Swim around until you find and flip all the switches. If it wasn't for the extremely well done visuals, I would've probably gotten bored and quit (I'm an artist, so I'm all about the visuals). This may just be another matter of personal taste, though: everyone else seemed to enjoy the puzzles, but for me, I want to have to figure something out when I run into a puzzle.
I'm not really into the F4F thing, so don't consider it an obligation, but if you have time, you should check out my new level "Starfighter." It's a bit lacking in the visual category, but I think the gameplay is pretty good.

Coop didn't reveal anything new, except we gifured out why players get stuck on pillars sometimes: if they jump for score bubbles, it will send them to the background.

Hi here is my little feedback:
(i cant write so long and detailed, cause im german some words i translated with translator, so idk if theyre right lol)
So lets start:
It has got a good design and good visuals.
Very clean and well made level, but the gameplay is a bit monotonous.
For example at the beginning, the first 3 rooms was just pulling switches and swim to next switch.
No moving things.
No action
But then you made some moving blocks where you have to swim through, that was better but it did not saved the gameplay.
Overall, for the good visuals and sometimes good ideas 4-5 Stars

I would again like to thank everyone for their great feedback on my levels! I received a few comments saying that this level in particular was good, but lacked variety. I have recently added more areas to the level throughout, so I hope this will make the level even better than before!
