Why have i not seen you before? I kept telling them CoD2 was the ****, but they didn't listen. Maybe they though i said CoD2 was ****. But it is far and away the best CoD.

SP = Single Player, PS3 beta was MP. So you can't really judge the single player aspect yet.

I however have always loved BC. It's really fun, both MW2 and BC have their own positives. I don't think BC is better then MW2 though, say what you will but your opinion is just that, yours. You can't turn opinion into fact. Perks don't necessarily ruin the game, they make it in my opinion.

Martyrdom is a perk, it's a deathstreak perk even though you only get it every 4 deaths or whatever it is.

I can't wait for this game, the beta was fun for a bit, but same map with no unlocks tends to get boring fast.

Yeah, but I have played the first Bad Company, and it was about hunting gold. But, there is that guy at the cliffhanger at the end who climbs out of a helicopter. But the main objective of Bad Company is hunting GOLD. That's the base of this series.

Yeah I agree with you. They shoud unlock new maps just like they did in BF 1943, but again, it's a Beta.
COD has the accuracy perks like Stopping Power, so that's technically weapon attachments. They aren't physical attachments, though.

I'm getting the game the day it's out, and have the PRE-ORDER.

I'm NOT ripping on Bad Company 2, I just think that MW2 is a fuller experience, and I think, more serious. Sure, EA had to slip ******* and s*** into almost every single sentence in BC2's script, but MW2's campaign is a lot more brutal and precise. For example, they are going out to kill a fleshed out villian, not just gold. But the multiplayer components are VERY evenly matched against each other. A lot of people are ripping on MW2 because it's a sequel (same with BC2) and it's basically the same thing, but it has a decent storyline.

Now about this huge MW2/BC2 debate, its a matter of preference, not which is better.
MW2 is more of a casual, arcade-y experience, jumping into a match, killing everyone on the opposing team, jumping around with DUEL SHOTGUNS, and no squad combat that I know of. There is no real strategy other than "Where do I hide while using the helicopter summoner thing" and "lets go on the rooftops not the alleys".
BF:BC2 is more of a strategy/one-liner jokes deal, with destruction for tactical combat, more variety of locations, and squads.

If you want to jump in and play, MW2 is a better option, while serious combat planning and things can be a "give me an hour to play this, k?" deal.

But MW2 has the perks, like Martyrdom and Stopping Power.

There are not "perks", but 'forgot what they are called' that give you extra grenades and being faster and stuff.

Anyways, I can't wait. But I hope my parents don't mind the excessive swearing.

The excessive swearing in my opinion is for the better. Sure the game is rated M now (right?) but cmon, in real war (I would assume) a tank shooting at you would make you swear from A to Z. Again, just my opinion. It feels much more realistic in the audio compartment because of it.

The tanks and other vehicles are awesome. I hated them in CoD3 and 5, however , in this, with the bigger maps, they add so much. I was sniping at the first base, just infront of it (we were defending). I was hiding in some bushes, with ricks around me, when i heard a tank coming. I stood up, tagged it, and crouched down again.However, the tank stopped, turned and started coming towards me... It drove up over the rocks i was under, with me thinking 'oh ****' underneath. It then stopped on top of me, before firing a few times. Then one of my mates saved the day by driving in from behind in a tank of their own, blowing the enemy tank up. It was cool :P

There are so many moments that you can't get in CoD - 3 of us were in a building, second floor, defending the bomb we had just planted. I had my back to the wall, and one of my mates (a medic) was looking at me. Suddenly, i was gone. I died, he burst out laughing. Turned out that one moment he was looking at me, coming to give me health, the next there was a hole in the wall/floor, and i had disappeared through it...

I've already had more, 'OH MY GOD THAT WAS AWESOME' moments than i have ever had on MW1/MW2

Best moment for me in the beta was the first time I really experienced the destructibility. I was in the ruined city thing and defending my planted bomb, and a stupid person in a tank on the opposite team trying to get me out. It ended up collapsing the building on top of me, taking the gold chest down with it.

Also standing on a tower sniping so many people and calling an airstrike down on a couple tanks and some people. Three people were killed, one in the tank, one repairing it, and the other on a roof.

Why does everyone think CoD is great because of the perks? It was at its best in CoD 2, brilliant SP and MP. None of this perk BS. Mind you the custom classes is a nice idea.

I said ONE of the Reasons why MW2 is awesome. The other reasons are the pure thrill, weapons, custom classes (ahem!!), weapons, different types of gameplays (like in BC2), deathstreak perks (or modifications), and name tags.

Call the perks whatever you want to call them, I just use what every game site used, and that's the word 'perks'.

The BETA is extremely addicting, and I hopefully will get this game when it comes out. Can't wait to see how good this does.

Also I have played the Demo on my friends Xbucks Threesicksty! The final result is pretty freaking epic! I sooo can't wait for the game now!

Mortar strikes, airstrikes, stuff comes from the air, whatever.
You get it after spending a little time being a scout. It recharges in about a minute or two, and if you land most of the mortars on a tank, it takes it out. Can pretty much total a damaged building.
You just aim it at the thing/person you want to be PWNED, hold the button down for about 5 seconds, and let loose.

Just play as a scout a while.

And about the MW2 thing, I don't have it, so I can't really judge except from what podcasts and the like say.

Yeah, I don't have it either, but I am a HUGE Call of Duty fan (always loved the series, played every game except Call of Duty 1) and hopefully will persuade my parents to let me get Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. And same with Bad Company 2. I already told my parents about BC2 and they said that they would talk about it. And I'm hoping I'll get it because chezhead is getting it too, and we both physically know each other, not just by LBPC. chezhead introduced me to LittleBigPlanet Central.
And by the way, they are just video games. They aren't the whole world. But, they are pretty awesome.

Yeah currently I'm playing Battlefield 1943, which is based off of the Conquest multiplayer gameplay modes of previous titles. It's been the top PSN download or somewhere near the top for what, like almost half-a year now? It's beastly.
