    Smile How to make any material be like a mirror

    Hello everyone
    Im here to show anotehr glitch i discover
    I named it 'Mirror Material' or 'Mirror Glitch'

    How to make it:

    Video:


    1 - First, select any material
    (recommended any material like Glass, Dark Matter, Taxi Metal or any other with reflections for better results)
    (In this case im using Glass)

    2 - Place it in a really small size



    3 - Make it BIGEST as possible



    4 - Cut a small part of the huge thing



    5 - Delete the huge thing



    6 - Make the small thing HUGE



    7 - Keep repeating step 4, 5 and 6 and presto! There is you clear material



    Notes:
    You CAN change the material with the Material Changer tool and you still have a clear material
    If you make it with the Tin Foil material you get a mirror!
    Dont repeat step 4, 5 and 6 if you already got a clar material, or you will get a Shaking crazy material

    Wow, that's cool! Apparently the engine keep upscaling the textures. Thanks for sharing!

    The 'old glass' from POTC makes a great mirror when used with this glitch.

    I tried this last night and I think the best thing is the different relfections you get, ranging from what looks like windows of buildings, to the ruins of a temple (or something) to icy mountains.

    Hey Vinicius, excellent tutorial, congratulations on your discovery! I would like to add something to the tutorial: While testing the reflective materials, I noticed they might start "moving" and (or) shaking after being resized or having their material changed. If they are made of dark matter they always stay still.
    Attaching dark matter to the material seems to fix the problem.

    **** you AlvaroShiokawa! that's what i was gonna say

    But yeah if you do this too much it will start too shake and it is so awesome!!! Make it sponge, then grab it and it starts flying everywhere all over the level! Also dark matter looks really cool like this

    Nice of you on finding out about this sponge detail, I will try it later.

    Also, did you notice that some reflective materials' surface gets shaky (I said some because I didn't test all materials) when you zoom, even if the object is not moving alone? The effect reminds of the air around a flame, all wavy and shaky.

    I noticed that the reflection depends on the material - materials from metropolis have windows, the basic glass has the same reflection of the space helmet, etc.
