    I'm GMT. You're GMT -5. That means you're 5 hours behind me.

    GMT is the time in London. GMT +2 is 2 hours ahead of that.

    It's simple really, it's just GMT + is however many hours ahead of London and vice versa.

    Get it? It's great for working out the time where someone lives.
