    Default Jailbreak

    Jailbreak by Swedes94
You have to try and escape HM Prison but not all is how it seems.

This level is my pride at the moment. I am working on about 4 levels at the same time and have plenty of ideas to come. This level has a few faults like the end is broken if you don't hold on. This level was made when I was just getting good at LBP so please leave constructive criticism. Thanks!

Hi Swedes94, I liked your level a lot and enjoyed it heaps. First of all I really liked the story, when I was at the start I thought I was just escaping the jail but then I ended up somewhere different. I won't talk to much about the story, so I don't spoil it for other people, but I really enjoyed it and as I was playing I wanted to know what happened next it had a bit of tension. The platforming aspect of it was a lot of fun and I actually died a few times, I liked how every time you went somewhere different it said what he was doing. It had a bit of humor aswell, (especially the sewer bit) I also liked the detail put into the level. The only flaws I had with the level was that it was lacking a little bit of scenery and that at the start it took me a while to get the bed upright so I could get through the hole. But it was an amazing level and I it was a blast to play from start to finish. Keep up the good work, and a .

    Hi, Swedes94!

    Welcome to LBPC!

I really enjoyed your level. You created interesting adventure with long and nice story. There are many cool obstacles and mechanisms so I found it very impressive! Well done level! Maybe environment can be a little less blocky, but I think that it is your design decision. BTW I found several short passes and with help of them players can let pass some parts of you level. It doesn't really matter, but it takes place. So I gave you 4,5 stars (rounded for 5) and I will look for your next levels!

Hidy Ho Swedes! Thanks so much for the feedback on Destiny! I'm here to return the favor

So, first of all I want to say that I LOVE the way you handled the story in the level. I was actually interested in it the entire time because your writing was very good.

Also, some of the concepts that you use are very unique. I really liked the searchlight. I can tell that you were trying out new things and that is really good!

I actually struggled a bit with the bed... and by a bit, I mean a lot. I don't know if I was just being stupid or what, but I must have spent 3 to 5 minutes on that part! I just couldn't get it to work. The problem is that the material slides to easily, so once I got it in place, I would try to use it and it would all shift before I could jump.

I had the same issue as Domik with the issue of being able to skip portions of the level. It would be good to block that, because not only can the player skip the section, but they can also get on top of things and see the tech. On the part where you needed to open the door, the player could easily just push the door out of the way. I would advise using a stiff piston to avoid this issue.

Except for that everything was smooth and I really enjoyed it. I have to be honest with you, I felt that your plug for your tutorial in the secret area took away from the feel of the level a bit, but that is your choice. I also found it odd that all but the last magic mouth were invisible.

Great work though I really did like the level, and I will be excited to see what you come up with next!

Thanks famouscustard! I'm glad you liked the level. I agree with bed thing. I gave it to my friend to play and it took him about 10 minutes to sort out the bed!

I'm making a level called Prison break. I'm over half done but I'm gonna play your level before I finish mine for inspiration.

If AFP says something is brilliant then it probably is.
