    Default Creation options i would like to see

    Here's a list of a few things i hope they add in LBP2's creation tools.

    1. The ability to connect more than one switch to one object.

    I really wish i didn't have to use complicated work arounds to have multiple switches activate the same thing. For example, im working on a level where i need many objects (maybe 10 or more) activate the same emitter. I'm going to have to make a logic switch with 10+ pistons move to a magnetic switch to activate it. It's not so bad but it would be so much simpler if i could just connect all those switches to that one emitter. I know it can cause issues. For example, you want to delete or simply select one of those switches, it will be hard picking a specific one unless you can grab the cable itself and not have to grab the end of it. Also if the multiple switches activate at the same time or in short intervals of each other or are set to differently (one to 1 shot, another to on/off) it could create problems, but hope they can make it work.

    2. Lethalizing objects mid level.

    I think i've read this be requested by others. This is a big one for me. I've encountered several times where i wanted to be able to do this. I can't believe they haven't added it in yet to be honest.

    3. Be able to change material properties

    There was a glitch that allowed you to create floating metal or dissolvable glass and such. I think they've patched it. I tried doing it again but couldn't. It has been over a year since i used the creator so maybe i was doing it wrong, but either way this needs to be a feature in the game, not an option. I REALLY want to be able to dissolve ANY material, not just the dissolve. Wood that can be blown up by bombs would be nice too, but the dissolve feature is the most important one to me.

    4. Change the color of materials

    I know we can put giant stickers over objects but sometimes it would just be far more convenient if we could just simply change the color of the material. And the colors shouldn't be limited to just the few we got with the stickers but we should have a full array of colors. Preset ones to chose from with ease and also some deep option that can give us pretty much any color we can dream of. That would be great!

    5. Pull the camera back further

    This might already be in LBP2, but i'm not entirely sure on all the camera options announced so far, but i wish the camera tool could pull back as far as you can pull the camera back during create mode. That would be great.


    So what are your thoughts on these? Feel free to add anything else you would like to be added to the create tool.

    About the first, there won't be need for mechanic piston logic anymore and all gates will be transformed to simple elements.

    Yes, in the trailer you can see an electric ball of sponge un-leathalize in mid-play and Sackboy swings on it.

    1. Could bring conflicts on the input, it may be useful IF used in a certain way, but if it can bring conflitcs on what may happen i doubt it would be added.

    2. Already shown it may be possible.

    3 & 4. Then what's the point of different materials?
    Why not just ive us a blank block that we can customize?
    It'd be pretty muchthe same thing no?

    5. Also already shown possible.

    Remember dpon't take it so seriously, i'm just telling ya my opinion and facts i'm aware of on these.

    For the first one i'm pretty sure this will become a reality with the micro-chips.

    It's faster if they give you all the materials and then the option to tweak it. Not everyone will want to tweak it, but for those of us that get really into it, it would be great to have the option to make everything dis-solvable or float, or whatever we want.

    Part of the trailer showed material dissolving as it fell and it wasn't dissolve. I agree it'd be nice to be able to dissolve anything, and have it make no noise, that noise drives me crazy.

    Perhaps it was made via brains?
    Who WOULDN'T want anything to be able to dissolve?
    But still keep the old one too, the texture is great for stickers
