Good stuff and great mech, but the scenery is a bit plain. I'd use the 3D glitch to make some hills etc. For the background. Also, when you had to close the gates to stop the mechs, it kinda turned to chaos. First this missile shot at me from nowhere, then this enemy pilot shot into the hangar and just stayed there, which made getting past a bit of a chore.

Thanks! Unfortunately I can't use the 3D glitch in many areas for scenery because a lot of the mechs use the back thin layer which would make them collide with the scenery and break.
Hmmm, actually you have to blow the bridge. If you don't the enemies pile up on the hangar, which I'm guessing is what happened. If you blow the bridge correctly none of the enemies should make it to the hangar.

Um, I'm not sure, but doesn't gluing DM to the glitch layer stop it breaking? Also, I did blow up the bridge.

Yes, but that would also make the mech (moving as it is) stop when it hit the 3D layer. Oh well.
You could always put some stuff in the foreground!
I'm putting this level in my imaginary queue for monday. =D

DM only stops everything glued to DM from breaking, but things that are not glued to DM will still break. Still, I had an idea what I could add and put in a bit more detail to the scenery, hopefully it'll be a bit less bland now.
I haven't been able to recreate the problem you came across though. Normally the enemies can't cross the gap left by the bridge, so I'm not sure what happened there.
