Level 1 by Spok22
You must fly through and pass two short trials to advance to the final exam. This level is meant to be a tutorial kind of level so that I don't have to explain controls in the next level I am making with the plane. Hope you enjoy.

Just got a hand on this level spok... and dam...
It was so nice and everything. The ship controls were confusing at first, but I got the hang of it.
The level wasn't very long, but it was worth playing.
When I first played this level, I thought it was the Jet level, but this was different.
I liked the whole thought about the level.
I don't got much to say about the level.
The length of the level was short. This is no survival, so there is no excuse out of this rating buddy. ;P
Anyways, the controls of the ship fascinated me. It was easy to get a hold of.
I liked the sticker work implemented on the ship. I admired the materials used.
I thought you could pull off an original if it was longer, and more wide spaced.
I never played a level so similar, but I found this interesting.
I have nothing much to say. I had no problems.
My rating below will explain the rest.
Length: 3/5 (Short, I could've enjoyed it more if it lasted longer)
Creativity:5/5 (The scheme was good, but what impressed me was the ship's sticker work)
Corner Editing: 4/5 (Since the level was short, there wasn't much design)
Theme: 5/5 (The terrain was simple, but the mechanics were Spot on!)
Story: N/A (No story built in, no rating)
Total: 17/20
Not a perfect score. Tell you what, I liked the ship controls. You earned 5 stars

and a heart.
Until we meet again,

Awesome spark thx.
I meant this too be a tutorial kind of level actually so ppl could get the hang of the controls and I wouldn't have to explain all of that stuff in the next level I am making with the plane. In regards to making the level wider, I can't do that because the camera will not follow the plane unfortunately, unless I put someone in the plane, and you and I already know how that turned out :b. Glad you liked it tho.

Hey Spok, you suprised me with this level.
The ship looked awesome. Nice job with the stickering. The level design itself was alright, but you could have made it nicer. The ship's controls are awesome and easy to use. Your level inspired me to make a game remake. But, I need to finish a lot of levels up. Well, that's about it. The level could have been longer and the ending could have been better as well. The level was pretty fun though.
My rating is 5 stars and a heart for a heck of a level.

@thenerd
I know that the level was really short but it was only meant to be a quick tutorial kind of level to get you used to the controls. My next level with it will be a lot longer.
I'm glad to hear u liked it.
@Alismuffin
thank u!
with regards to the plain background I was trying to make it look more like a training facility so I thought using plain materials would capture that feel the best. My next level however takes place in an a lot more interesting enviroment and it miight even have some starry space segments
. But that's the reason for the bland materials.
Thanks both of you for the feedback.

I was really impressed by the concept and execution of your design here, Spok! Controls took some getting used to but felt good after a bit. The ship was well made as well. The background could have used some spicing up, but to me this level seems more like a proof of concept (and training, of course
) for a larger level. After playing your Volcano of the Lost Rubies I have no doubt as to your ability to create a good looking level!
So for excellent execution and uniqueness this level scored a lot of points for me.
I'm really looking forward to see what you do with this concept! It has great potential!

Hey Spok, congrats on the Spotlight Nod!
I had to leave feedback on this level, seeing as it is so similar to mine. I loved the way you controlled the movement of the plane. I liked how you could move in all four directions, which gave me a sense of freedom. The shooting mechanism also works very well, and the ship is fantastically designed. The only thing I disliked was the background design. In your next level, make sure you use more stickers.
I gave it 5 stars for the concept, and I can't wait for Level 2.
