piston string

now this isnt really a piston string, but its a similar effect for the string, its not really a glitch or anything just something i found useful while i was toying around with a gun ive made "dismantle", its a sniper where the barrel pops off and turns into an Assault Rifle,

how i found it out was, if you connect a string to between 2 interlocking flat sides, it gives it a piston effect,

ex, i used a double piston setting (one stiff one not for flexible strength) so it drops off, and pops back one when the pistons extend and de-stend (or w/e) so the string attached to the broken barrel folds into itself like a piston when they attach.



just thought id share it, might be good for something =)

yeah, if your using pistons to detach and attach things, put a string inbetween the two interlocking points to make it look like a piston, (for visuals)

yeah, i dont want them to see my tech, so everything is invisible except for the string, the string has that extend and un-exstend effect that the piston has...
