Default Gamespot Stage Demo ( new create mode footage)

I recently found this i think its very informative and has new footages of LBP2,especially of create mode, alot of old levels are showed aswell (and messed up) but there's also new footage of create mode (of johnee's level) and the microchips, you see how they work etc, and some new informations too.

    http://e3.gamespot.com/video/6266342/

    NOTES:

From 1:00 to 4:25 they just show the levels that have been demonstrated already before in gevurahs videos, exept NOT off-screen and in HD, and strangly the second level get's messed up during play mode in a very similiar way.
At around 2:16 you see footage from the create moon, and you notice one of the levels has a clapperboard-like icon, wich is probably used for all levels involving cutscenes.

At around 5:00 you see the shooter level created by johnee (i think) and i think it's really awesome.
If you go to 5:55, you see it in create mode and its logic. Those chips and stuff that are emmited actually create the visual effects, and it makes the level look like it's 3D, i don't really understand how it works but it's awesome. And i think this really showing how its easier to make logic because those logic materials aren't actually visible in play mode, and you can go like from one microchip, and then change the settings of it, wich will open up another logic material, etc. So you can make realy complex stuff, and i think it's not neccessary easier than in LBP1, it's just faster to build.

At the end they shortly tried to show a competitive minigame level but gave up because they didn't have enough controllers i think.I didn't really pay that much attention to what they said but they sure said some informative stuff aswell.

Ooh, sorry about this. And yeah i agree the direct control seat is my favourite feature aswell as the new ways to create logic.
I was wondering the same too Evans must have made about 20 interviews in one day or something lol.

Wow, amazing seeing johnee's level in create mode! I'm assuming all those trailing microchips are on invisible pieces of vacuum material? man that is absolutely insane. and it looks like it's all done with movers, not a piston or bolt in sight. a beauty!

I'll try and give you guys a quick idea on how this works (I think/I hope)

When you're in the seat and push left, you aren't actually moving at all, how it works is that there's also seat on each of background lines that are being emitted, and when you push left on the controller, that is linked up to the background seat and is telling them to go right. By doing that, it looks like the player is moving

Similarly with the bullets, all that is happening is they're becoming smaller as they are fired...so it looks like they're going into the distance.
Newer LBP2 Level - The Mind Factory

Yeah i already thought it would be something like that but wasn't really sure, it looks like actual 3D but it's not. Either way thanks and the level and the tools look really complex and awesome.

    There's a glitch! :O

Go to 1:23 or so, the grappling hook goes THROUGH the wall. :S

The guy is fully engrossed in how that shooter is made. xD

It doesn't actually go through the wall because if you look correctly that wood is actually in the thin layer (theres a a bolt attached to a thick layer just behind)
