I was trying to ace the Great Magician's Palace and I had just nearly made it to the end. I got to the part where the Great Magician is lifting the box making different shapes appear, and it crushed me. So there went my aced level prize. I went back and aced it, though.

Ha ha! I've done something like that. At the end of the Serpent Shrines, just after I'd defeated Zepata, I died on a tiny piece of fire left over from when he exploded. It took me ages to ace it.

Same thing happened to me, when he I defeated him and he exploded one tiny flaming piece hit me... I was so mad, it had taken me forever to beat him without dieing...
I beat him the day after that, though...

Except I got to the end of the zipline, released it, and got catapulted into the electric cloud that lady is sitting on.

ok, imagin i FINALY get pass the wheel in the bunker- with out dieing. So i go past the final part, then, the battery in my controler died. I stoped and then the convayer belt toke me to my doom. had to start ALL over again...
