so much hype for costumes, wow.. you guys really arent more excited to see what Mm does with the levels, if they aren't working to show off some new mechanic? costumes are nice but really, you can only wear one full costume at a time. it's nbd.

Let me explain the pack to everyone here:

-Some characters can fly differently when placing the jet-pack on like Iron man and the Green Goblin etc.
-There will be six packs. (Rumored)
-5 costume packs and 1 and level kits.
-Each pack will have a main character such as Captain America, Spiderman etc and 3 less than hot characters such as Elektra or Daredevil.

I will update this or make a thread when I get more info.

    1. Some of the info I got was from the LBP website while some were from here.
    2. It doesn't really change anything its just for show plus I changed it to rumored. Plus if you look at the image it shows some characters in the sky.

I am interested to see where this "kombo" website got their source from. Without any screenshots, it seems more like baseless conjecture than actual fact.
I'd be more than happy if it were true that some characters can fly, but it seems very unlikely. That MM may have altered the flight animations for some characters seems more likely, but still nothing I'd put money on.

    Also:

As they say on the web "I lol'd". Levels WOULD be broken. Some levels are heavily based on platform jumping. Allowing free flight, as they suggest may happen, would completely break those levels.

Those guys probably know nothing about the game, and are mostly talking out of their ***.

If the costume displayed the jetpack powerup differently then sure it could work. This seems like a MGS and POTC style creation pack so maybe there's a character enhancement or something that allows this. I'm sure Donkey could clear this up.

Agreed, that the jetpack is displayed differently is possible and would make it work.
What the guys at Kombo are suggesting is that some characters have an innate ability to fly, not requiring the jetpack at all.
    This is highly doubtful.

Maybe it just makes the jetpack invisible if one of these characters are using it...but probably not.

My mom said "We gotta get the Spider-Man costume!"
And something about the Thing being a funny costume too XP

    Definately.

Why the hell would MM put in a new enhancement? With LBP2 packed with lots of new ones, why would they?

    And, why should they?

    Are you trembling?
