Really fantastic. Everything was designed incredibly well.... in the original, I always loved the spewing wood chips. Well, here they were MUCH more impressive. The saw cutting through and spitting the wood was really clean and realistic.
The level retained it's charm from the original. The characters were fantastic, and I loved the use of the sponge as the ground.
My score stunk compared to some of the others.... I'll see if I can take care of that a bit later.
5 stars and a heart!

Slight tweaks to make:
The tiny winch on the spider should be visible.
There is a triangle of DM clearly visible beneath the log rolling section. Under LumberBill.
I was 20 points off first place.

I got to play this earlier with a friend, and i loved it! The characters were great and i loved the little details like the logs of wood being sawed in half as your riding on them! The section where you ride the log through the saws is my favorite gameplay section i think, i love the improvements from its original Mulberry woods counterpart.

Lol that FrogBoy sure likes to pinch the top score (although I managed to beat his on Chinatown
)
Anyway, back on topic - I've always loved your levels, purely because of their understated but really effective visuals. Whereas loads of other people slap tons of stickers on materials like too much makeup, you tend to just leave the materials as they are and they still look awesome! From the comments so far I can't wait to play this *goes to fire up PS3*.
EDIT: Just played both of them, and the difference is tangible. Can't really say much that hasn't been said already, but the second level seems so much more polished than the first, with so much more detail. The factory section was very clever, possibly my favourite piece of industrial gameplay in the whole of LBP. The story and characters are veery nice, much more improved upon than in the first level. I did think that the score combos were better in the first level, though, where you had to time your runs to get all the bubbles - just having lines of triangle score bubbles is a bit boring, try dangling single bubbles from the trees a bit more like you did in the first level.
So yeah - very polished, very pretty and very fun. What more could you want?

An excellent level for sure.
Visuals and attention to detail are superb.
I did find what I think is a little bug.
At the stump beside the outhouse you can jump down behind it and drop into the lower level where you end up with the skulldozer chasing you.
Also you can see a prize bubble just as you drop through there too.
Maybe that was intentional I don't know.

I love it! The way you take a theme and incorporate and meld it into a fun environment to bounce around is always so fantastic, its a definite trademark of your levels. The new bits all looks and play great, Bill is a great adversary (stickered to perfection), and the vehicles have a really nice chunky design to them. This re-dux definitely takes the enjoyment of the level up a good few notches, and it was already pretty high to begin with! It's got so much of that traditional LBP charm - I'm in awe!

I'm personally a big fan of the re-makes...showcases the creator's improvement since this whole crazy world was created. This was great fun...Excellent visuals and funny characters kept the experience light hearted and fun to play.

Wow, epic.
I played quite by chance with some friends (absolutely no lag, by the way) and we all loved it. There's some clever stuff, and I found the end very amusing and really well done.
I hope I'll get the chance to play some other levels you'll have made soon. Best.

Thanks for all the kind comments and thoughtful feedback everyone! I'm glad people enjoy it.
Both of these issues should be fixed now. Thanks for letting me know!A few things happened in the mill that I don't think went as planned. The first log to spawn on the log saw bet got stuck for an amount of time and almost didn't come out, I had to jump on it and die before it unjammed. I also found myself out of the level after using the launch pad thing near the venting... I was jumping at the time but I still went way up there... I saw the "inner workings"!
Playing a different game probably, so thanks for keeping me motivated!
I have some new level ideas, but I might wait until LBP2 to explore them. I'd kind of like to wrap the ZV trilogy in LBP1.
I have some ideas for it, but I'm not sure when I'll get around to it. It will happen someday I hope!
I assume the treads on the dozer broke? Nope, it's not supposed to break, it just does sometimes.
There, I've fixed your precious spider!
Really? I actually thought they were improved. While I do have areas with lines of bubbles (especially the ending), I tried to implement some layer switching, so that players have to switch quickly and keep the combo going. I'll try to switch it up more in the future.I did think that the score combos were better in the first level, though, where you had to time your runs to get all the bubbles - just having lines of triangle score bubbles is a bit boring, try dangling single bubbles from the trees a bit more like you did in the first level.
Nope, this wasn't intentional and a lot of people seemed to have escaped through it! It should be fixed now.I did find what I think is a little bug.
At the stump beside the outhouse you can jump down behind it and drop into the lower level where you end up with the skulldozer chasing you.
