    ^EXACTLY.
    Kinect costs $150
Kinect can't register fingers. Most games are impossible on it.
How do you walk around if you have limited space?
    Can you even walk around?
    Is it anything besides rails?

MOVE costs $50(sub is optional and a lot people have a PSeye)
With MOVE you can use an analog stick to move around.
Any actions that the motion sensor can't do, you can map it to a button.
MOVE registers in the z axis so it follows all movement is 3D space.

    Wii, can't do anything.

    Which one is better?

Really? The console thats responsible for the motion control bandwagon that everyone is desperately trying to jump on can't do anything?

    Indeed, this.

I do like that for Move if you don't want to put your money down on a sub controller quite yet you can use the PS3 controller with one hand for it. Obviously not ideal, but would get the job done for the short term. Which would probably allow me to decide whether it's worth it.

    I think there's a typo in this thread's title...

You forgot the word "over" before the word "priced".

  5. Thanks!

The controls are too much of a gimmick, you swing within a 70(just an example number) degree angle of any given angle and it registers as a predetermined slash that you have no control of besides being in a general area to the actual anglle that the game processed

Its like setting a proximity sensor to 130 degrees and walking into it, yea you made it in the necessary area, but is that nearly as accurate as a 1 degree proximity?

You can pretty much do most of the stuff that Wii can do, without using buttons, on an old Eyetoy if you put enough programming into it.

Not trying to bash it, its just... well, it was outdated before it was even released :/
(and yes I know that, technically, all technology is outdated by the time it hits the market)

I'm not really that fussed about Kinect yer it looks good but there is no good games for it. Just all family games what I am not really interested in maybe if they bring out some shooters like call of duty maybe I will take more notice in it but until then I will not be getting it. But on the ps3 side Move has some good games coming out for it so I might be getting that.

Kinect is ultimately too expensive for casual gamers.
There are no games yet that cater to the 360's "hardcore" audience.
Basically, Kinect is a failure. Too expensive for soccer moms when they can just buy a Wii and too basic for the 360's audience.
I'll give it a year before devs stop making Kinect games. It's just not worth it.
