Hi everyone. It has been some time since I have posted a level on lbpcentral. This level had been sitting unfinished on my PS3 for quite a while, and a week ago, I decided it was time to finish it. It just seemed sad to let it go unplayed by anyone.

I spent a lot of time on this one, so I hope you enjoy.

Description:
A cute, fun level with a story, lots of underwater gameplay, a cranky octopus, a vegetarian shark, and, oh yes, mermaids.

A cute, whimsical level. I was very impressed with the gameplay as well. Very refreshing to be doing something diferent. Collecting the items was fun and original.. Getting each item was also fun and entertaining. 5/5 for original ideas!

Pros:

I was pretty partial to the visuals, they weren't to my liking other than that, I a agree with the statements above.

Very Cute level! I really enjoyed it. Wasn't very challenging but was still very fun, I like the originality in the tasks and the character design. Hearted.

After you get the scuba gear from the octopus, I didn't notice the arrow until coming back to that area after deciding to proceed by going back to where the second mermaid is. The arrow's kind of dull colored and maybe I'm just dense

Great design on most of the environments and foliage.

- I hate invisible walls. At the left of the house, just change it to a rock or something. Natural obstacles/barriers keep up the immersion factor.
+ Sticker switch next to prize bubble of said sticker. Everyone should do this, (especially if you need the sticker to continue the level) but they dont. You don't need the sticker to complete this level, which is also a good decision.
+ Angry clouds! awesome!
- @ Mermaid, a typo: "I this real??", plus I missed the first magic mouth, as it went by too quickly.
+ Cool crab guy peeking up.
- Maybe add a "grow" sfx for the flower?
+ Monkey + bananas + tree shake = great! My favourite part.
+ All the other little animations on the creatures!

Getting each item in a different way was a nice change from the usual.
Fun level...5 stars. The charm effect is a powerful rating increaser!

Very deceptive level, on first viewing it's a bright cute adventure but under the surface there is a lot of clever stuff going on.
On closer examination one finds a lot of effort has been put into all the fauna and flora that inhabit this charming level, lovely little quirky touches which really add to the overall experience, lie hermit crabs burying themselves in the ground when you come near, the angry faces on the storm clouds. All the tech wored perfectly and I experienced no bugs, the only deaths I experienced have more to do with my shortcomings as a player than level design. The whole level has a homogenous look from start to finish, noted a few mouth issues but only a minor issue. The monkey was my favourite part, in fact I'd love to see a whole monkey island level.

First off, their is a censored part in your level, after the ship crashes. You might want to check what word might of censored the whole phrase.
The visuals were great and the character design was also nice. Nice length to the level as well.
The monkey part was awesome as well. Yay bananas. >...<

I suggest you play the first chapter if you haven't already. The series is heavily story based, so to understand the story you need to play the first part. ^-^

Yes, I noticed that was censored. I can't figure out why. All it says is "Wha....What happened?" Since I think it makes no sense, I have stubbornly chose to not change it. Strangely enough, by icon also seems to have been censored. One day I went to take a look and the icon was just missing. I could not re-upload the same icon. It was just the mermaid's face! So I had to replace with another picture of the mermaid from farther away. Weird.

Thanks everyone for checking out this level. I've added a few things: light on the arrow to make it more visible and some grow sound fx on the flowers. I may incorporate some more at some point, but I am completely out of thermo at the moment, so it will require some thought on how to do it. Thanks for the great suggestions.

Happened is a censored word in LBP. Don't ask why, it's just a completely stupid censoring system that drastically needs changing. I had a stampede in my Sheriff Sack 2 level and the magic mouth warning of that was censored too. I found out later it was the word stampede. That was a nightmare to change because there is no other word for stampede that I know of. Crazy!! Even crazier is that the game censors words that are in the PS3's default dictionary!!?

+ Octopus falling asleep pretty good liked that Idea
+ Character design was nice work
