Homestuck.

Herpderp Cyber that is not what I meant, I should have been more specific. The guy has an overall view of the story, but he often picks up humorous suggestions from the forums occasionally, (the old comics ran on the these entirely for the lulz.) Or thinks up new ideas as he goes along (its a heck of a long comic, so this is inevitable) like many authors. This preserves the epic nature of the story while keeping it entertaining and with sense of spontaneity - kinda like real life, maybe? (Wow, now I am pushing the theory - blame the English analysis essays I am always lumped with.) It just makes it fun to read.

Okay, can someone explain to me why this is even remotely entertaining? I tried several times to get into it: my attention span can't handle this "story" without getting a strong urge to do something else, like read an actual comic or book.

Mind telling me why you guys like Homestuck?

I like Homestuck for two reasons:

1: Because it is about a videogame, something I do really love, and it has a nice story plot. Completely confusing, but that is the point of the story, and it is a idea nobody else has had before, and the story feeds my mind with awesome stuff. It also has a nice discography.

[SPOILER]No, I don't think Roxy and Dirk are in the future. Although it showed Jake and Jane's future from their present time, I think it showed Dirk and Roxy's future from pre-scratch times to their present time. That is a good theory though.

[SPOILER] I thought the new buildings resembled that grid (which seemed to activate as she left) under the house, with the divisions of the four squares. If I remember correctly, only one of those boxes in the grid was activated when Rose stumbled upon it. So this crazy power grid thing must have some correlation to the creation of the grid of buildings we see Roxy standing on. [/SPOILER]

I'm glad robot Hussie has been presumably destroyed, I couldn't take two of them.

Out of the things I enjoy in Homestuck, the thing I hate is Hussie's multi-character between-act scenes, not because they look self-indulgent, but because they just add a whole lot more to explain in an instant, and are all non-sequitir.
