The Wicked Manufactory by Silver39_7
Delve into the depths of this odd building and discover things aren't exactly as they seem.
This is a platformer with a puzzle or two along the way. I'd like to say the look of this level is unique. But I just can't be sure of that.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy my level, and feedback is welcome.

Hello Silver!!

The new level is very good. Gameplay is marvelous and I found quite original. The visuals are superb, I agree they are very unique. Your corner editing is getting great. The materials look really good together. The environmental puzzles were well thought out, and very enjoyable. I had a great time playing this.
You keep getting better and better.
Five stars and a heart!!

Hey Silver, this level is your best yet! The gameplay was original and fun, giving me a few "Why didn't I think of that?!?" moments. Your nailed the design giving a weirdo factory vibe. The length of the level was just right not dragging out or leaving me wanting more. I can guarantee I'll be coming back to this level in the future!
Final Scores:
Fun Factor: 9 (Enjoyed it from start till finish!)
Originality: 10 (So many original ideas!)
Design: 8 (Lovely sticker work!)
Overall: 9 (Which means Five Stars and a heart!)

Considering I usually have a tough time with gameplay designs, I'm relieved to hear that.
I tend to use materials to decorate a level more than stickers. So it's nice to hear I picked the right materials for the job.The visuals are superb, I agree they are very unique. The materials look really good together.
Thanks, I guess that long break from creating did my mind good.
I really think the Shiny Metal really helped with that.Your nailed the design giving a weirdo factory vibe.
Now this was something I had worried about when I published the level. I still had some thermo space left, but I'm glad to hear it had good length. The length of the level was just right not dragging out or leaving me wanting more.
Thanks for your feedback guys, I really appreciate it.

Hey silver, I love a good factory level (as you'll know if you played one of my latest levels), and this was truly an enjoyable experience.
The materials had a nice mechanical feeling to them, so that was a great choice. The stickers helped add to the factory atmosphere, and each was very well suited. So visually the level was very impressive. With factory levels I like to feel inside though, and at some points the level felt a bit too open, but that's entirely personal choice.
Overall you gained

and a solid

In fact you're level made me look at my level and think it may not be good enough. Your's had a recurring gameplay design, and mine's just another factory level. But it's nice to see that I still got some positive feedback.
Funny thing is, most of my level doesn't even have a roof. But no one ever sees it because the walls are so tall. With factory levels I like to feel inside though, and at some points the level felt a bit too open, but that's entirely personal choice.
Anyways, thanks for your feedback Coxy.

Ages ago, a poster by the name of BlueBulletBill promised feedback for an awesome level... can our hero complete his operation? Or will homework, Transformice, and /b/ keep him from doing anything? THE PLOT THICKENS!
Feedback is being written now. Will edit post.

Spoiler - THIS! IS! FEEEEEEDBAAAAAACK!
Part I: Playthrough
Dramatic train is quite dramatic. This area could have used more decoration - the flat landscape could trick someone into thinking this is a noobish level, with one good vehicle. CRASH - Let's check this place out! The lack of music here is somewhat ominous, and the sharp beeps against the silence are quite cool. I loooove how the machines fill up too. Okay, time to investigate.
The music in this level is very nice and fits well. I also love the signs sprinkled throughout, they look great. Great puzzles here in these first three rooms. Second room is great, I do something like it in my upcoming level. Anyways... Swinging up these circles is a blast, and using checker pieces in the background here is GENIUS. Seriously, in concept it sounds like horrible contrast, but in practice looks wonderful.
This next room, I have to post my original reaction to:
"Okay... how is this going to work... *pulls switch* OMGWTFBBQ that was AWESOME"
In concept, it's nothing new. In practice, I'm retrieving my socks which were just BLOWN OFF. I really, really like this idea.
The circle things are a much-needed break for straight platforming, and the wall platforms as well. The wall challenge is a lot of fun, and I love how you edited the shapes you jump on. The next section is the only part I have a problem with - it's just a tad too hard. Reduce the wobble a little, and reduce the spin speed a good bit. 1000 deaths later...
Ooh, crushers! :-D I just love them... jump, jump, switch pull, and down I go! I like the idea of this door, and then shoving the block - I've never seen the latter done before. Okay, this platforming section is full of win. Bubble chains - and you're thoughtful enough to let missed bubbles fall for less skill players too, clever. The speed section is nothing new, but a great implementation - I wondered what an Xed clock meant. :-(
Platforms appearing where you walk... where have I seen that before? OH YAH, Super Mario Galaxy. I'm on to you. ;-) Great idea, bringing it to LBP. Oh look, an elevator... because NOTHING ever goes wrong with LBP elevators. Wheeeee... ZOMG Evil Robot Scoreboard - and worse, a great level is over!
Part II - Summary
This level is a ton of fun - that goes without saying. However, it goes beyond typical 'Kay, itz a factory, gets out of it n stuff. Kthkzbai.' domain. The level really has a feel of its own. Unique warning signs and quirky background contribute to this so much, and you really feel like you're going through some sort of crazy plant. It's not a real highscore type of level, but that's okay - Sacky needs a break after all the Jonze style levels these days. As for gameplay, A++ to you my friend. Seriously, there were so many great moments in this, as my playthrough will attest to. Quite a few awesome ideas, and you'll no doubt see the influence in parts of my next level. Great work on this.
Part III - Review
Looks: 5/5
Platforming: 5/5
Story: Not Available
Originality: 5/5
Replay Value: 5/5
The Good: GAMEPLAY, lots and lots of great gameplay.
The Bad: A few difficult spots, not much though.
The Ugly: How much I'm going to ripoff. D-:
Five stars and a shiny metal heart!

I wished I did too, but I guess at the time, the lag in that part of the level discouraged me.
I am glad to hear that as setting a mood definitely helps a level. The lack of music here is somewhat ominous, and the sharp beeps against the silence are quite cool. I loooove how the machines fill up too.
Glad to hear you liked it. It's a very simple concept, but wobble bolts made it very difficult to accomplish in the past for me."Okay... how is this going to work... *pulls switch* OMGWTFBBQ that was AWESOME"
In concept, it's nothing new. In practice, I'm retrieving my socks which were just BLOWN OFF. I really, really like this idea.
I made so many adjustments to that, but I guess I got too familiar with it and it became easy, for me.it's just a tad too hard. Reduce the wobble a little, and reduce the spin speed a good bit. 1000 deaths later...
I've always wondered what those springs could do other than platforming, 10 minutes later in a blank levelthen shoving the block - I've never seen the latter done before.
Happy to hear that as I have a hard time placing score bubbles in the proper places. Well thank you so much for the review B3, I enjoyed reading it a second time when I took it apart for this. It's not a real highscore type of level, but that's okay - Sacky needs a break after all the Jonze style levels these days.
One word only:You were the first one to receive my upgraded review. You've also earned a creator heart, AND an invite to the PSP's exclusive chat group, The Tavern. Enjoy!
