[div=overflow:auto;]Whispering Oak by xQziCyFlaMeZxQz
Yo peoples! please try my level! It is a pure platforming level. The setting kind of looks like its inside a tree. Well anyway, this level was kinda inspired by Lockstitch's "A Forgotten Realm." You know how in that level he did that cool floating platform thing and then half the comments were "HOW'D YOU DO THE FLOATING PLATFORM THING!?" Well yeah i figured it out sorta ^_^, and i used it in my level. And honestly when i made the name "Whispering Oak" I had no idea he had already had a lvl called "The Whispering Grove" So i didnt mean to use his name. Well please try my level!

Okay, I played the level and here's what I thought. I liked the visuals of the level and thought you did a good job with stickers and lighting. When going to where you have to press r1 and let go to get bounced up to the switch you must pull, I'd put maybe a light under the r1 sign because ot's pretty hard to notice and since I didn't see the switch up there either, I just kept going even though that didn't make too much sense but after two deaths I noticed it so it's not that hard but it might be a little tricky to notice at first to some like me.
I really liked the floating platform challenge like in Lockstitc's "A Realm Forgotten" plus the other challenge before with the platforms floating in circles was nice also. At first the circles spinning with part of it grabbable that shoots you up felt hard but didn't take too long to get used to, so great part added. I loved the design of the scoreboard at the end, you could maybe do the same with the start and finish race gates, but that's a very minor complaint. Overall, the gameplay was a lot of fun even though most of it involved being bounced up, the visuals were gorgeous and it's definitely worth a play.

I'll try mentioning this on my blog soon

Oh this looks fun, definitely will check it out! Could you maybe explain the logic behind the moving, floating platforms? That was a great gameplay piece in Lockstitch's levels that I, and probably many others, would like to utilize.

I played your level, and here's what I thought:
The atmosphere was well put together, it had a cute and colorful sense to it that fit the gameplay well.
The segment with the green blocks that you had to push to make things happen was well thought out. I also loved the butterfly checkpoint
The moving platforms were ok, but i didn't really like how you could see the flower decorations through the wood right after they emitted. By the way, I figured out that you used invisible dark matter with probably motor bolts to make those platforms work.
Overall a good level, it was fun to play.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! And wolverine, i added leaf decorations so you cant see the flower on the platforms spawning behind the material. I hope it helps!
