Just played it...Incredible! I loved how you used the scratched steel and glass as it did indeed look like ice. I liked the challenge and the layer switching in the level. Did find a few small hitches. In the beginning after you activate the spinning half circle and go up to the mid layer theres another sponge thats a full circle that spins. Not knowing theres a switch in the front layer i grabbed the sponge and got to the layer above. I couldnt get back down unless i popped. The other is a nicpic. The spinning timed puzzle was confusing at 1st. We never saw that layer rise so we could get to the back layers. It mightve been us being bllinded by your good stickering work. Fantastic level as always. 5 stars and some love.

Great looking level, as usual Morgana. I bit too difficult for this clumsy old oaf, but maybe someday I'll make it to the scoreboard (but probably not without help). Heck, I've still got 1/3 of the LBPCTG levels that I can't finish. Anyway... what I saw of it looked fantastic! Kudos to you!

I really loved the use of stickers in this level, a look I hadn't seen before.

I want you to do the other elements NAO. Bring on Water & Wind or......

Wow, so not only was this a great platformer, but it also has a very addicting high-score challenge. It's hard to ace and has lots of combo opportunities but on top of that it makes you choose between getting a higher speed score or stopping to grab the secrets bubbles for score. I'm currently satisfied with my #1 spot, but I'll have to come back once ousted. Haha.

Anyway, overall, excellent platformer, very fresh and fun. 5/5 and hearted.

Visually stunning, with some great gameplay devices and addictive bubble combo action, what's not to like? I was constantly debating about whether to break my chain and head for a secret, and every bit of platforming kept me on my toes.

I only had one minor nitpick with the level: There was one part that got me both times- its a pit with spikes in it, right before the part with the flame blocks that move left and right, and I kept jumping in thinking the level went downward. After reaching a spiky doom, I realized my mistake, and mourned my lost combo- perhaps the camera zone could be edited slightly to give a view of the spikes or the platform to the left before running off to your doom? My guess is I was just going too fast for it to pick me up before I reached the edge.

and a , thanks for this hot...err...cool...err... FUN experience

This looks like fun, I want to try this out. The pictures already have me hooked, they look so beautiful, cant wait to try it out!

Liked that bit at the start where the hazards rotated (kinda) around the horiztonal shifting platforms.
Plus the scoreboard is very nice. Well, the actual scoreboard looks plain, (I would definitely add some transition images between the blue/red), it's the things around the scoreboard that look great.

One thing that could be improved is that the repeating steps didn't evolve much. Some wider spacing and spikes later on, but could be better imo.
Also the lighting doesn't reset when you die on that ice slide part. I feel the wheel of death(s) platforms/exits could be clearer too.
My biggest niggle was some annoying layer switching while attempting the bubble combos. (for example at the end of that shifting platform section I liked).
Plus some lag, but I guess I'm used to it now. You even go out of your way to slow up and abstract platformer ha. (jokes)
EDIT: The lag is a lie! The sneaky ice/glass tricked me I swear!

Oh and also raise the spikes after the "get burned, jump off ice in the middle get burned again" part.

Does anything change in the time trial mode? (didn't have com items on doh)
I see a random eye/flower decoration in the photo you uploaded??
Also curious about the tags/rating(4 atm). The tags on the level are either good (beautiful) or bad (annoying). I can't really understand the dislike on this level, as it's quite solid (in both gameplay and visuals) and has no major bugs.

    EDIT:
Thanks for the feedback on my feedback.
The slowdown happened @ the horizontal ice with the moving fire that moves up and down.
My connection is fine atm, perhaps there was too much going on @ that point in the level, or more likely the "ice" slowed sackboy down which I mistook for lag.
Only 15 lights?! That's not like you, whats the deal?

Fixed Thanks for the heads up. Now the circle does not spin until the wall has been removed.

Agreed - I tweaked the camera so the spikes are clearly visible now. Should help going for the additional bubble combo on the step.

I can't believe I'm going to say this but, I didn't want the scoreboard to look too busy. The phoenix heads are already really over the top and to embelish the scoreboard would detract from them I think. I don't mind the high contrast split with the orange and blue. It's sort of a graphic thing. But ok - I've added a few striped stickers too it to doll it up a bit more.

I suppose I could have done that. I sort of liked it as it was though and didn't think to change it for change sake. I'll keep it in mind if I do another.

This is true. I suppose I should fix that.

EDIT: It has been fixed. The lights now shift back if you die on the ice slide part.

I tried to keep the layer switching easy in most places, idk, I sort of am two minds about layer switching. Some people find it annoying, I think it adds to the difficulty if you do it in key places. In response to that specific area, I added one more set of bubbles on the second layer so you can continue the combo now even when jumping back a layer.

lol - I'm gonna lay the blame for the lag on your connection then. There's no lag when I play it, and there's about 15 lights in the entire thing. No lag was intentional on my part.

I tweaked the camera so you can clearly see them now without raising them.

In time trial mode you can get a major score bonus from the race gate if your fast enough. I can clear it only using about a quarter of the time I allocated so scores close to 100,000 should be easy to pull off for the speedy and score bubble hunters out there.

The "random" eye is emoguy in his flower cyclops outfit. He jumped up during the shot. Too funny.

Ya it's getting hated on pretty badly right now. A lot of it are rage quitters who don't want to actually play the game but just run through. When faced with anything remotely challenging they quit and down rate to "punish" the person who made them fail. At least that's my theory on this. I'm ok with it. When I set out to make a harder level I knew this came with the deal.

The ugly tags do hurt though.

Took this through speed/time run tonight and the top score right now is totally beatable, even by a hack like me. In case anyone needs a little more incentive to go for it.

Grrr, someone beat my score again? I'm sorry Morgana, I'm totally ruining your play/heart ratio, but I can't stop going for the perfect combo! Third time's the charm perhaps. To the top of the scoreboard...awayyyyyyy!

Guess I know what I'm doing tonight then....

And about the drop to 4-star, I was monitoring your level's progress last night, and was so dissappointed when it fell from 5. Sigh.

Well the first kid to play it rated it 3 stars and tagged it difficult. I knew what I was in for after that. None of my levels stay at 5 stars. oh well.
