Resident Raytech (Part Spotlighted) by LFiers
Hi there all you fellow LBPC members,
Here I am posting the details of my level called "Resident Raytech" which I hope you can check out and play. It is a mysterious hightech facility of unknown origins to all sack people. You wake up within this facility not knowing how you got there and need to find a way out. The is a pure platformer which will hopefully, surprise, intrigue and inspire you as it unfolds. I feel casual LBP players and tech-heads alike will find much to enjoy and see in this level as one of my focuses was to create a very technical level but still be fun and accessible at the same time. I poured alot of effort and time into this level and really spend alot ot time racking my brain to come up with some truly unique ideas which hopefully hasn't ever been seen in LBP before. At the same time I wanted a totally unique looking level as you can see within the screenshots.
I would love to do F4F (Feedback for Feedback) for EVERYONE and ANYONE who plays my level and and leaves their thoughts in the comments section. I will continiually check my comments and play all of your levels to return the favour guaranteed. I really hope you enjoy my level "Resident Raytech". Thank you very much and I look forward to playing your levels. LFiers...
Here are some screen shots to give you an idea of the design and work I have put into "Resident Raytech":

Hey there Screeno, I just played your level Trouble in Worldland 1 and 2. I had fun with them but my advice is if you want a better rating maybe turn down the difficulty by slowing the bosses down or adding more cover because many people especially kids are impatient at this and just seem to quit at the first sign of distress. I like the humour but the humour seemed better in the firstl. The boss needed for shelter to hide from them plasmas.i'll play it and comment here!

I played your level. It was bl oody brilliant from start to finish. Loved the emitter tricks and innovative platforming they caused.
I have one thing to say though, the guy who said he's the boss said a little too much and it's hard to follow. All the same yours Puts mine to shame. Can you post your thoughts on my thread because no one has posted on it yet, and erase the one in this thread thanks. Also it would be good if you spread news on my level around, I do it with yours.Last edited by Screeno; 10-25-2010 at 06:16 PM.

Just played this lewvel and thought it thoroughly deserves its 5 star rating. It is definitely one for the tech heads. Lots of logic, emitter tricks, hidden doorways, etc. I also liked the path of the level. It isn't straight linear. When pulling a switch it rotated a section that you just passed through to create another path. I feel the lack of music at the start of the level created bit of an empty feeling so maybe you could look at that. Otherwise job well done.

Erm... wow? That was amazing! Honestly, I think a lot of what you did in that level is illegal in most countries for being just too awesome...
Positives
+ L-l-loving the, uh, "dope" blue colour scheme, and you were consistent with it, and your choice of materials and stickering was well done.
+ The emmiter thingies... well, what can I say? I don't know how you did that! They worked perfectly, absolutely fantastic...
+ I liked the boss, thought he was quite funny.
Negatives
- Probably a thermo thing, but I thought it was too short
I WANT MOAR AWESOME
- There isn't a sequel yet.
- You still haven't made a sequel.
- DO IT NAO
Haha, jokes aside, this level deserves its 5 stars and a big fat juicy heart from me. Whatever it is that you're doing, just keep doing it!My Levels:

Hi LFiers!
As promised I played your level and it's quite amazing. Great Job! It's not my favorite setting but the effects are awesome.
How did you make these moving emitters? Is there any kind of unvisible material where they are attached to??? I always wanted to have an unvisible material but I don't know wheather such a material is existing.
One tip from my side:
I got stuck for some minutes after the 2 blue platforms at the beginning had moved the second time. I didn't see that there is a lift because the "touch"-symbol is very small. Would be good if it was easier to see what to do there.

LFiers,
Cloud Here!
Your honesty is much appreciated! Almost to the point of laughter because many of the area's that truly need work, you pointed out... And I'm grateful! You have my word on playing your level of course... without question. This was just the direction I needed. I'll make these adjustments right away!

Okay, WOW. I was totally blown away with the gameplay. It's totally reminiscent of LBP's beloved creator, Lockstich.
First up, the PROS !
-the non linear path at the beginning was something fresh that LBP's been waiting for.
-the use of the infamous "Lockstitch Emitter Technique" was brilliant
-the blue theme fit nicely!
Now, the CONS
-the lack of music made the level seem lifeless.
-the red neon lines at the beginning of the level seem odd in a blue-themed level.
With that said, GREAT level!
a total of

What an inspiring level!
Absolutely loved it! One of the best i've played in a while. The start was a little puzzling, but with a little brain power I pulled it off! XD The various platforms moving around, being created in front of my eyes were astounding! This level was so well thought out and played amazingly.
I gave it a well deserving

and
'ed it!
Great work!.........Hmmm it says that this is your first published level? I have my suspicions that you are a master creator on a new account....who on earth would do such a thing?!......*shifty eyes*
Oh, hai.

Just played this level and it is truly unique. The level design is great and the platforming puzzles are outstanding. The mechanical movements are ingenious and quite familiar to those who played Lockstitch's levels [man, they're starting to copy his ideas. First "The Magical Factory", then "Honey Hive Redux" and now this]. Overall, that was a colorful and gameplay greatness level. 5

This level was simply awe-inspiring...just plain total physics. Great sense of movement that carried my senses away with me inside imagination. I hearted this, 5-starred it, paced the floor, did it again, loved it, slept on the thoughts it generated....fabulous!

Hi LFiers, I've played your level. I know sometimes people try be nice but I want to be honest so don't be offend... don't worry your level is awesome, hehe. Most 5 stars levels have beautiful scenery but they don't have gameplay, I mean they don't have nothing original in gameplay what I've never seen before. The most important for me is originality and gameplay so I like your level. There is lots of nice ideas, some what I never saw before. Also design is very good and level is well balanced. Level doesn't have the best graphic (4 stars) but I don't care because this level is just fun. I really enjoyed so deserve 5 stars and heart from me.
