Wow, great creator spotlight! After I read this, I got hooked on to Danger Ballz. I will never be able to finish that in normal mode. Keep up the good work!

P.S. Like everybody else, I killed Sparkles. I didn't know that she was a bomb!

  2. Thanks!

Ahem... A poem for DrunkenFist-Lee and my favourite levels of his...

Hey! Hey there! Don't touch that!
Don't you know this is the Don't touch that labyrint?
Oh my, an ocean of scorebubbles, Tempting, yes?
Well if you try to get'em you must (re)pay, lint!

Invading planet X with furious natives
Oh my, if people were just a bit more understanding
You should have thought being nice change stuff
But in the end, catching a ride home is the only thing

Have you heard, next stop is the big city
though a farm will do I think, should be fun too
Can that be an alien? Ohh, Lamas! Wait, what?
There is as much fun here as turtles saying MOO!

So we say our greetings to DrunkenFist_Lee
A strange but pleasant guy waving arms around and all
Making awesome levels, funny and strange
There is no doubt or questioning it is his very call!

    Hope you like it

This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.

moonwire: I wish I had a witty reply to that, but my brain has twisted itself into one of those figure-8 shaped thingies that only have one side.. I didn't think that was possible without scissors and tape, so I'm slightly alarmed... Slightly...

    Thank you for that!

Amazing job once again by the spotlight crew- thanks guys!
I love "Next Stop Big City" so much, and for so many reasons. Is it the best level of its kind ever? Is it the ONLY level of its kind ever? For sure one of the funniest, best looking, most original levels I have ever seen. It's also VERY fun to play, with a ton of replay value. I'm sure many people who play and love this level don't even realize how much technical stuff it took to pull it off.
It was great to see how some of the ideas were born from accidents in create mode, seems like a good lesson for all creators who might struggle with ideas, or who think you have to have a plan! My question is this, what kind of crazy mishap in create mode inspired a llama beauty pageant?
Congratulations Drunkenfist_lee, well deserved! Now I'm going to play "Don't touch that labyrinth" and NOT grab those score bubbles!

    Thanks a ton!

Early in the development for Next Stop, I decided to have a 'death by llama' scene. It's actually one of the first ideas I had. Then I just had to figure out who this llama was, and what his motivation would be. "I know!" I exclaimed to my cat, with a twinkle in my eye. "This llama will lose a beauty pageant and go on a murderous rampage!" It makes perfect sense, right? ........right?........
