Arts class. Our teacher is explaining the details of our next project for the grading period—Terracotta sculpting. "Why not make something you'd actually want to keep and display?," I thought. Then, it hit me. Make something LittleBigPlanet. First, I had thought: Sackboy, then I realized how crazy I was. Much too difficult, in my opinion. How about that iconic little tree in the LittleBigPlanet logo? BOOM. A little bit over three hours of work later, and voila, my masterpiece is complete!
Here she is:
And yes, she glows.
Here she is, all fired and painted!

Well, our school year just ended and it's summer (yay), so I got the sculpture back. It had been fired in a kiln already and I painted it, so it looks much nicer now. Just thought I'd share again.
I updated the opening post with a picture of the sculpture all fired and painted.

That is really cool!!! Sculpting things is so fun because once you know what you are going to sculpt, it usually never goes bad.
