GIMP. I've used photoshop, but I like GIMP more for some reason. If you're looking for something that's easy to use, GIMP is not what you're looking for, it has a bad learning curve to it. I hear there are some good online ones, but I don't remember what they are

Indeed it does. I've been using GIMP for about two years now and I'm still learning new things. You made the comment about online photo editors, and I thought you might want to check out Aviary Phoenix. It's like an online photoshop, and works surprisingly well for an online photo editor.
