Well yea, the reason why I asked was cause I thought that I finally had a chance to be nominated for this year. (and finally beat mrSC at something lol)
I just thought it would be perfect timing since this is the last year for LBP1 and a bunch of great levels were published. It would be a nice way to close the LBP1 chapter.

but u know, it's not even about the crown. So many ppl have them that I think they lost their value. To me is more about the acknowledgment!

That will never happen... unless the category was "Most time taken to make a rather sub par level in which the creator should have simply given up instead." You'd win that for Security Breach no contest.

Meh. All my stuff is never finished as of late, so, am I wrong in saying I really don't care?

The people that would win anyways are the people that everyone knows about, not really the best.

I think it would be cool to have the last Sackies of LBP1 this year.. *Hopes his Cursed Mirrors would get nominated, even if it didn't get spotlighted. It's a good level :P *

Why would MM have ever let the community vote? We voted for the levels we thought were best, then someone got the bright idea of adding the most hearted level and most played level to the list. (Which, by the way, was moderated a few months later and has not been restored.) Voting made us feel good about ourselves but ultimately did nothing. No surprise that the most played level got the most votes.

Many people congratulated Little Big Dead Space and that was that. Some people defended it by saying it was groundbreaking for such an early level. But nobody on LBPC voted for it, and in reality, I'd be surprised if any of you didn't think it was crap. It's always tough to deal with talking about quality, like with the spotlights. We try to separate levels into two categories: great and spotlight-great. But really, there's more, and Little Big Dead Space was crap. Yes, it was very good for its time, but that wasn't at all the point of the contest.

So that's my uncensored opinion... If they do it, I hope they never get the whole community involved. But really, if they do do it, why does it matter? Sure it's nice to know what MM thinks about our levels but the fact that they made the game doesn't make their opinions more or less valid than anyone else's. I have a list of my favorite levels buried in my mind: I don't need MM to tell me theirs.

It already happened in September. I won every category and they decided it was best to delete any evidence that it ever happened. Said they'd give me an MM Pick and a job if I kept my mouth shut. They lied.
