Be aware of the glitch seen on this video as it may end up breaking your game (well, not LITERALLY...), thus having to start a new file. Might wanna think twice before making those spinning wheels of doom...

He said in the description that he reconstructed what happened the first time. So he must of had his data corrupted, and just quickly done it again to show what happened.
To resolve the problem, you have to delete your save file i believe. and start again.

Another good reason to make copies of your saves frequently.

Is it possible for someone to make this on their level and then publish it thus when you enter their level you get messed up?
-
11-06-2008 #14
technically, yes. But think about it, who would invest £40 (UK) into a game just to mess the community up? During they're testing they also would of broke their game save, so i doubt they'd want to remake it.

Well you don't have to go near the object before saving it.
A lot of idiots would do it if they knew about it.
Mainly someone who's sibling is playing the game and they want to **** them off.

Well then, if you see a gigantic wheel spinning at a ridiculous speed in a cheap level, don't grab it

This can be very easily fixed with 2 controllers. If this happens, join the game with the second controller, then turn off the controller of the glitched sackboy. The glitched sackboy will leave the game and the guest sackboy will be all on their own. Then quit the game and restart it. Your sackboy will no longer be glitched and you won't have to delete your save and start over. This happened to me, did this method, and everything worked completely fine afterwards. This is NOT a game breaking glitch at all. It should still be fixed though.

Insert external hard drives usb cord in to ps3 switch hard drive on copy save data to hard drive.
I'm currently alternating backups between my external hard drive and my PSP to be extra sure that my data is safe.

Ok I can't see the video. (slightly worried now)
Can someone give me a heads up on what is going on in it? Also how do you back up your saves? Copy them to a USB drive?
