I don't think glitch layers will become a proper tool, I heard somewhere that Mm love the glitch, and made sure it still works in LBP2, but they're not releasing it as an official tool, or something like that.
Maybe a controlinator for the Move controller?

I'm sorry but I already disproved that:
I'm not so sure, I don't think they used the layer glitch there.
Anyhow, I took pictures to make sure.
Here's how far the bell decoration from the POTC pack, at full size, stretches from the background to the front of the truck:

I went into a blank level, and I then placed another bell decoration at full size on a thin layer in the back layer. I had a thick block placed at the foremost front layer that would be considered to be in the same layer as the truck:

The bell appears to be cut-off at the same area, this suggests that no glitch layers were used.
I'm not against the layer glitch, but I don't see it in this level.

They already said a Move pack would be out in March with the ability to open up a Move controlinator. I think they told HipHopGamer that awhile back.
I personally think it'll be Toy Story themed since they announced there would be more Toy Story DLC and their whole arrangement with Disney or whatever. I'm calling it right now.

They are not releasing it as a tool as of LBP2's release, as they did not have time. (according to what syroc of LBL asked them months ago)
There is no known date for the move pack unless you have proof.

Toy story DLC surely would not double the creative possibilities.

But the Move pack would, and Sack-Jake stated/implied that he believed that Toy Story DLC could be used as an outlet for the Move add-on. I agree.

hmmmm...
Well, it's dlc, so it's elective ,for serious players/creators... It doubles creative possibilities...
Ok... I'm going with a 'Level air-conditioner' that effectively reduces the effects of creation on the thermometer by approximately 1/2...
-or-
An 'Alternate or Shadow Earth' that would allow you to effectively double the amount of levels you can author (wait a tick...) Who would really buy an Alternate CraftEarth?
...maybe it will just be a whole nother venue that we could link to like massive on line gaming!.................................................. ...................
"The world strode slowly upon my heart measuring precisely each fractal footfall with shiftless negligence. I lay in its' wake scathe-sighted, the Gravel of Man, pandering pan in hand prospecting paradise, and you... talk of my immortal soul?"

If only you were right...!
But yeah this is intriguing...couldn't they included those mysterious features straight away in LBP2....!?
Waiting..again

No, they said in an "interview" or whatever you want to call it with syroc, that they did not have time to make video capture, sublayers, or glitch layers before LBP2's release.
The blog post is at LittleBigLand, somewhere around august.

i was thinking more in line with creatures that don't wear the costumes (some maybe). making a spider or other creatures with more than two legs such as centerpedes or beetles or even odd three legged creatures. there could be a selection of textures for these creatures such as scales, hairs, spikes, horns, tails, claws, that sort of thing. how they'd have them navigate the environments would probably be the hardest thing to achieveI've heard this suggestion before on the LBP3 suggestion/speculation thread. If they actually found a way to implement a similar character creator, the game would just EXPLODE with even more (double, to be exact, apparently) creativity. The only problem I see with this is clothing and dressing these "creations". They could possibly find a way to map current costumes onto these creatures. Or, they could just put out brand new costumes that fit onto a wide variety of things. Or, better yet, give us the ability to stretch, resize, and reposition current costumes on these new creations. All in all though, I really hope this is what they're working on.
But yes, glitch layers are bound to come into play eventually.
Or who knows, "double the creativity" may mean they found a way to allow twice as much thermo? Probably not, but it's a thought.

Well, I would pay $10 to buy Earth. Then I'd hold it for ransom. Then I'd use the money to buy Earth again, keeping all the leftover money. And continue until everyone is forced to restart the monetary system using blueberries.

some neat stuff to think about
well a couple things that would be nice to see is implementing weather (rain/snow), also a more refined way to apply stickers to your character, something similar to "Mod Nation Racers" creation station... could build stickers and objects possibly with it as well... those are some things that would be great to see... but LBP 2 isn't even born yet nevermind being in infancy... We all saw how far LBP 1 went with water and such... I guess we will see what "doubles" the possibilities in the next evolution of the franchise... They aren't as small as they were back then so hopefully the DLC and expansions are at an even higher level than the first title.

So, what actually is the move controller support for LBP2?
Is it just Sackboys Prehistoric Moves?
Can you use it in create mode?
Are there any other story levels that use it?*The views expressed above do not necessarily reflect the views of LBPC and it's affiliated subsidiaries.

"Doubling the creative potential" has to mean something singularly significant to general game play, and I think the six layers idea would fit the bill nicely. (6 thick with 7 thin) It might also be why they decided not to offer tools for glitch layer support, because their long term vision was to add more playable layers, not our cosmetic ones. Six layers could also make "top down" games like racers and shooters more workable with over-the-shoulder camera views, especially if we also got a z-axis corner editing tool. Add a z-axis gravity switch, and Sackboy could be running around freely in the X-Y plane, jumping up into the Z direction. I believe the new lighting engine better supports lighting this camera angle as well.
A less epic idea might be to add an optional setting allowing for 8 player online multi-player, opening the door to team-based competitive games. That's another doubling metric that could add a lot of creative options while still being fairly incremental in terms of evolution through DLC. On the other hand, getting an 8 player pickup group going on a single one of the 3.5+ gazillion levels out there might stifle its potential.

I really do hope they do make the whole move thing it would be awesome but , if we have 6 or 7 levels it would be a little to much, I mean it wouldn't be rare it would be just a regular thing. But it would be awesome ^_^

Why not add the most wanted weather or wind tool? They did say it would be game changing!
