Congrats Ungreth, an entertaining read & vid. And don't let 'em get you down, the Planet's a better place for having creators like you in it.
Yeh, it's odd isn't it. I guess it's the nature of LBP - get stuck? who cares!! Next level please!I have to disagree with one thing.... I don't thin society has been "dumbed down". The same people who would spend an hour figuring out how to beat a boss in a Mario game will scream over a simple LBP puzzle. It seems many players think because it's user created content, it isn't worth anything and the creator should curtail to them. LBP levels are treated differently than commercial games....

Another great spotlight. I really enjoyed reading this one - some thoughtful questions and thought-provoking answers.
The video was as hilarious as ever. Great intro - you guys never cease to amaze me with the amount of effort and creativity you put into these things. I loved the whole graveyard set and it was nice to see the Countess get a starring role. Ungreth's costume with his own face was awesome and just what you'd expect of him too! I lol'd.
Congratulations on the spotlight, Ungreth. So well deserved - your levels are are always an absolute pleasure to play - actually pleasure is totally the wrong word but you know what I mean. They are always challenging, not just in terms of the gameplay etc but in terms of shaking you out of any preconceived ideas about what an LBP level should be. But, hey, what do you expect? The man's bound to be a genius - he comes from Shropshire!
Thanks again to all involved.

That video made me laugh. And great creation for the intro.
It was a little hard to hear to video sometimes, but I got it. Good job!I am a proud nerd and band geek.

I just want to say a big thanks to all the spotlight team for all their work, especially to jww and Countess who devoted so much of their personal time and energy into this. Great looking sets, great video editing....I'm impressed.
I did allow them to sleep for an hour each night and I fed them regularly every three days, so I didn't totally overwork them. There was one time when I even let jww have a glass of milk after flogging him with a stick all day, so please don't think I'm a slave driver without compassion.
And a huge thanks to the LBPC community for all your support and taking the time to play my levels over the last 2 years. To those of you who have enjoyed my levels, rest assured that I will be working hard to keep them coming in LBP2, and to those who hate my levels...well hard luck, I ain't ready to retire yet!Last edited by Ungreth; 01-16-2011 at 03:26 PM.

Congrats Ungreth! It was quite a treat to finally get a chance to do this one. One of the things we always like to think of when doing spotlights are interviewing "interesting creators". To me Ungreth is pretty much in your face interesting. Thanks Ungreth.. really appreciate your time and effort. It was a real honor to get to know you better and visiting. I also have to thank you for your bit of acting skills to help us make this one really different and special.

I also have to say thanks and congrats to the wonderful TheCountessZ as she really did an amazing job on this one. This was her first interview for us and I think she did a terrific job! She also did quite a bit of the acting, the storyline and also her incredible setwork. Yay!! She made it!
lol
Thanks as well to Taffey for helping with the voice parts. Really cool to help us out like that in such a time crunch. Great job!!
Also thanks to Dayne for the reuse of that cool Cadillac. The hitchhiker it seems ended up making a return for retribution and was great to include that in the final bit.
Sorry we left you out of the credits on the video. Blame the editor.. he's new.
Anyway.. thanks everyone and glad you liked it. These things take an amazing amount of work and so it is especially fun when they finally get published. So excuse me for being really happy right now and rattling on and on and on.....
lol

Just so everyone knows, most of Ungreth's lines were ad libbed. We started recording and I said, "Action." Ungreth said, "Uh, don't I get a script?" I told him it's funnier if we just go with it. lol
Taffey was the same way when he recorded with Jww. Not sure if most heard him say when he entered the cemetery, "I think I have a sackbot buried here."
And don't worry, folks. Julesyjules is not in any danger at all.
