Apparently you can get medals twice, as I just got my second medical medal I also got the assault kit service star, so I'm getting a lot of XP thrown at me. (Though, I still have a long way to go :C )

Fantastic game today I got 6 kills with the scout helicopter on Damavand peak Conquest. That map is so cool
Helicopters have always been my favourite vehicle in BF, and dropping my squad off at objectives and flying back to base to get more is always super satysfying! Love this game

It didn't take the guys dog tag when i knifed him on the way down just killed him outright. Very pleasing.

And i did last night manage to kill two people with the knife from the front. I thought it was possible as i remember doing it in the Beta looks like you just have to be faster than they can pull the trigger i think once they start to shoot you are then unable to knife them with a cinematic.

I met my match last night as well i had just played a match where i was third on the leader board and knifed 12 people in the match i only got dog tags from eleven though. But next match some guy named StevenSeagal25 or something like that had 2 silver stars in the combat knife to my 1 star and was like a ******* ninja. He kept appearing out of nowhere and getting my tags. At one point he even jumped through an explosion and knifed me in the chest then dived across to my teammate and knifed him then disappeared like the wind.
I did gt him a coupe times as well but hes got my tags two times more. Now i have a Nemesis

Well i've now got 135 kill with the knife which is nowhere near the 800 i have in BF bad Company 2 but i'm getting there.

I have to laugh at the few CoD players I've come across. Some have gone straight to Prone when we see eachother. On CoD this tactic [annoyingly] works, but since it takes your ability away to shoot while getting in/out of prone it's useless and give me an instant kill. Have to laugh

  5. Thanks!

Battlefield 3: The only game with advance physics and programming so advanced you can realistically tear a building apart with C4... Yet it still can't remember my loadouts. I WANT TO USE MY M9 TACTICAL PLEASE.

I just got a warning email from EA... For 'Bad Content In Forum'. I have done nothing bad in the forum though... Apparently, I either started a petition or signed a petition... Which I haven't. I report them... So wtf...? :/

That's the sad part. EA makes great games but treats their customers like s***.

Hmm... That could be so... I have been playing the role of the mods, mod on there... But I've sent in way more than 1. I've sent 50+ (most in day 1... )

Precisely. The fact that EA has "received your petition" means that you've reported someone for something, and they're dealing with it.

Well, this game has taken my online rage to new levels. I am starting to turn into a whining, raging ball of frustration when I play lately. The skill level of the average player is much higher than COD, with the exception being the mix of brand-new players who don't PTFO... In short, it's very easy to get frustrated with this game.

I am doing some serious self-reflecting. I also find myself being very OCD regarding my stats, which I don't feel represent my actual skill (when in fact they are literally that.) This, in turn, makes me more concerned about getting kills than PTFO myself, which ends up feeding the vicious cycle of frustration. *sigh*

The good news is, I am going to try to make a conscious effort to see where I can improve:

    1) I am far too likely to be separated from my squad. This is partially due to the fact that nobody uses a mic/VOIP doesn't even work. I need to stay with my squad and provide backup and firepower when needed.

    2) I need to stop being so scared and take off my **** suppressor. I have 377 kill assists, which means about half of those were head-to-head shootouts that I should have won. I can't tell you how many times I've had a shootout and died, with the other guy victorious at 4% health. I think I might be switching back to heavy barrel on my assault rifle and just letting my gun climb a bit more vertically in hopes of a headshot. You can see me on the minimap? Good. Come get some.

    3) Stop worrying about stats and PTFO! Nuff said.

I think if I can do these things, I'll be a bit better off. Last two nights I've snapped at my gf while I was frustrated at the game. (It doesn't help that she's nagging me with my headset on, and one time she asked if I had farted! I mean, come on...)

Anyways, what are you guys finding that you could improve?

I hate it when Squad Leaders don't set objectives.
You and your squad can score significantly more points if the squad leader sets objectives... and it's as easy as looking toward the objective & pressing "select".
...but this is apparently too hard for most squad leaders to grasp

Nice. Did you have engineers looking after you, or did you do your own repairs?

Ha yeah it can get frustrating now and then.

I only use the suppressors when i'm hunting as i lose so many shootouts with them equipped. I do like the heavy barrels and up closse i do get more headshots with them myself for the same reason.

I get annoyed when i sneak into an enemy base kill a few people and set off an M-COM just to be blown up by my own team then the enemy reset the M-COM. This has happened to me four times now already.

You want people to get frustrated like you were.

The only thing you need is situational awareness and to be able to predict what people are going to do and bait them. You don't need a strong weapon necessarily, the biggest weapon you have is the terrain so you see people before they can see you. Also, you need to know when to run away.

Ideally you'll annoy them enough to try and get revenge over and over. If someone is smart they'll break the cycle first but I've literally had squads throwing themselves against me and those are the matches I get a K/D ratio of 25 or something else stupid on. It's only when the other side is coordinated that you should die.

The killcam is useful for misdirecting people on what you're going to do next.

The battle is in the MIND, man.

  22. Thanks!
