Awesome! Yeah, Back to Karkand was one of my favorites in BF2. Especially the 64 player map.

...I think it is activated (actually gives you access to servers running it) via the game code. So you should be set! ..at least I was!

Guess what. I tried to join a server with B2K and it said I didn't have the expansion. I've been playing for a while now and no sign of activation. My game came with an activation card, but it is apparently useless, just like the discs.

10 pushups for every death you get after every match.

1. Helps the time go by when you're waiting for the next match.
2. Makes up for doing something that usually doesn't require any movement.
3. You'll subconsciously start to play better to avoid deaths because let's be honest, who wants to do 10 pushups for every death?

Sorry, it's BF1943.

This was on Wake Island. From the spawn I used a landing craft and went around to the closest flag to the enemy aircraft carrier, let them capture it and stole their tank as soon as it spawned and killed everyone before reversing up the peninsula behind a hill. From there I soaked up enemies while my team worked their way around the island capturing flags.

All I can say is gotta love someone running Soflam and in my tank with guided shells. One shot got me a triple kill and three roadkills somehow... Next target / shot a double kill and two more roadkills! Not sure how that all happened, but hey... I will take it any ol day! lol

I got roadkill with a jet once. Didn't even kill me!

Also, how in the world are you supposed to go up jet levels if all you have to begin with is the machine gun? There aren't even no flares, and I always get locked on within 10 seconds of taking off. Same with attack choppers.

I know... sorta like everything else. A bit naked where others have all this tech at their disposal. The only good part is you can only pick from that pool into 3 slots for each type of vehicle. However, not having flares is quite a huge disadvantage. Though it doesn't take too long to gain the exp points to get them.

There are some servers that list themselves as flight schools etc.. Also there are servers that only require 1 person to start. You can visit those when empty and practice flying and gain the practice, just not sure if that will gain you enough points for flares that way. I think I got flares for the heli by just being a gunner long enough. ...well that and getting ****** enough at another pilot to try to go up and try to take him down. You at least get rockets straight away.. just not heat seekers.

Helicopters are the easiest vehicles in the game to use for me. I have every unlock for them, and I spent the day helping people on my friends list do the hard mode "Fire in the sky" mission a month or so ago. However, JETS ARE ANOTHER STORY. It took me forever to get the flares because its pretty much impossible to escape a lock unless you bail.
After I got them though, it got WORLDS easier, and I have about half of the unlocks now. Jets are really fun to use. I just wish there were flight school servers on the PS3 versions.

The only vehicle I've truly mastered is the MBT ( I even have specific tactics and maneuvers), and next comes the notorious mobile AA . I don't really like IFVs in BF3 because they mostly are all wheeled and can't turn on the spot and can get stuck in rough terrain. BTW remote controlled machine guns on humvees aren't as fun the MGs in BC2. And also the glass in humvees is way too powerful against medium arms. To be short: humvees lost their charm due to overpower.

At least I got a friend who got flares for the gunner chopper, but he sucks at flying them, so when we can I pilot and he guns down and activates flares. But the jets are still impossible. If at least they had dumb missiles...

Edit: the frag rounds as a whole are a joke, those should be gone. And why are hand grenades round? I really prefered the pineapple shaped one.

lol... yeah that and rpg's get a bit obnoxious on metro. Not sure that was what was intended there, but oh well.. There are servers that boot you for using gernades, rpg's and the usas-12 on that map.

...still gets pretty insane regardless!

Any news on new DLC's? my friend a new america pack was announced, but I can't see any announcement videos anywhere. I have found that this games community are somewhat anti-fun recently on the ps3. when having a laugh in vehicles etc with my friends we are nearly always verbally abused for not taking the GAME seriously enough. its flicking flacking annoying is what it is.
