I really like the AK map set. CQ is actually quite fun too, but I think my favorite is AK.

My favorite map in AK is Death Valley as I love the terrain as well as the darkness. What I find really most fun is the Tank Superiority mode (at least I think that is what it's called) where you have only one flag, no choppers or jets, lots of tanks, and boots on the ground. My new fun is being in the black cammo and going out as Support then out flanking and C4'ing tanks that move past me as well as running around tossing ammo at all the javelin jockeys. I have found myself many times being the one to run down to take the flag all while ton of tanks are having a stalemate shooting match surrounding the point. Even better when a few enemy tanks roll by the flag and bridge and I run around and take them out with c4. ..then at the same time dodging camping sniper fire, and using the bridge as cover to get around behind them and knife them.

...just one of the best times I have ever had in BF3 !!

I have Battlefield 3 on PC AND PS3 and I can tell you right now the pros and cons of each.


PC:
Pros-has better graphics, bigger maps, more players, better gameplay/controls
Cons-no mic communication, poor teamwork

PS3:
Pros- fully functional mics, more fun in Squad DM/Squad Rush, easier to own people
Cons- bad graphics, sound glitches, smaller games

No mic communication- Unless you're willing to download the non CPU intensive VOIP programs such as Mumble, Teamspeak, and/or Ventrillo.

Poor teamwork- Unless you actually use team/squad chat. Or the voice servers that the server owners host.

Believe it or not, the PC version does have mic communication. Though.. they have to be on your friends list. On the battlelog web page, at the bottom of the comm center, there is a "Create Group Chat". Click on that, and then drag your other friends in there.

..however, doing that via vent or mumble is much easier and has many more features.

I always surprise the other team by flanking them and firing a TOW to their rear then quickly finishing them off with a main gun round. Javelins are a real pain though. Alternatively, I'll use hills for cover and go hull-down. I must say I trust DICE a little more now.

I will have to try the TOW a bit more. I unlocked guided shells on the tank destroyer and usually use those as I found TOW's a bit long to engage to fire as well as reload. Never thought about extra damage.

To me the smoke is the best defense with Javelins and guided shells. Well.. that and moving around quite a bit. I use it sparingly as it seems to work like flares on a chopper. At least for me, anything else they still can lock on and get you.

Recently I've been playing with a bunch of the big YouTubers Most are pretty cool whereas others are completely different in game...

Oh, and I just reached my 2100th PC knife kill. I have more than 1500 more kills with my knife than any other gun...

So my friend and I have been messing with the BF3 Color Tweaker by Realmware have gotten some pretty cool lighting systems going!

I'll edit with pictures of the other maps we did when Planetside 2 finishes updating...

While the tweaker does modify game files, Punkbuster has said that they will not ban for it. So this is safe to use in ranked matches!
