Calling all Music Sequencer Makers to Youtube

This is an optional request from me to anyone who plans to make melodies and songs with the music sequencer.


Basically, I will be making some music sequencer melodies based on existing songs (or my own if I get any ideas) and posting them on my YAYGamingVideos channel on Youtube. But If you are someone who is also going to make music on the sequencer, maybe you can donate that song so I can put it in a video on the channel.

The videos themselves are going to just be a single hand-drawn image representing the melody with the music playing. Along with LBP2s logo on the side and a logo representing where the original song comes from (if its not your own original music).

So far I have done one melody and posted it so here's an example of how the videos would look:


See? I hand-drew the image to match the mood of the song. Placed a LBP2, YAYGaming logo on the bottom, and included the logo for the source that was referenced to make it. In this case the song came from the online multiplayer game RuneScape that I used to play alot.
Whenever I get enough of my OWN sequences done, I'll probably share freely with anyone who wants to use some in their levels. If someone asks for a song I did NOT make I will let them know that I didn't make it and be sure to credit whoever did on the image and description.

So if you are willing to help out and donate a tune, all you need to do is the following:
-Name your music sequence properly.

-Send me a friend request with the text "MUSIC"

-Let me know whether the song is ORIGINAL or if you used another song as a reference (in which case the name of that song too and musician if possible)

-And describe what kind of setting this song might fit with so I can make a quick drawing to match the mood of the music.

-As soon as we are friends, try to "share" the music through create mode. I will update the youtube channel and post the video here as well. Whether or not I keep people on the friends list afterwards just depends on how often I see you around. Or if by any chance I start running out of room. (doubtful :P)

I don't think I will remake music, so no more Final Countdown , I think I'll make only some original stuff, but if I'll remake any known track I'll share it here

And speaking of which here's two more sequences.

Ones another version of the Underground theme I had already made.
The other video is music mostly for some of my cut scenes in my ShyGuy level project, a slow loop and 2 short little melodies. You can skip towards the end if you don't want to hear the looping for too long.

I can actually convert SNES music files for viewing on a piano roll, perfect for recreations. Might consider doing the Yoshi's Island opening, so please hold off on that one for now.

Well I only have one idea of anything yoshi related in my level project. So I probably won't touch that one for awhile. Well in the end there can always be two versions of the same song. Unless they both sounded the EXACT same... which would be creepy O_O

Hi all. I'm a bit of a dabbler in the music sequencer stakes myself, but I don't have either a YouTube account or any way of recording videos straight from LBP2... so I suppose I'm pretty stuck in the self-promotion stakes. Once I've finished working on my own levels I'm curious about composing music for other players. If anyone's interested, just, errr, yell. Or something. Okay, bye!
