That'll make 2 of us. It'd be stupid for them not to allow uploads from the HDD.. I mean seriously, whats the difference?

I know, it's ridiculous. If i have to print out every picture, buy a PSEye, take low quality photos and import them that way i'll be quite annoyed. When they revealed LBP over a year ago they said directly from the hard drive, but not since. They can easily do it.

The difference is that the number of copyright infringements drops considerably when everyone has to go through the trouble of taking pictures with the Eye.

True, but thats what they have the moderators for. I don't plan to make my levels i use the stickers on available to everyone.

It's obvious that they can do it ... even I can write a program that imports jpgs - it's just about what's the most sensible thing for them to do.

I already bought one earlier this week; but it would still be nice if we could simply upload images from a flash drive rather than having to print out your image & take a photo of it...

Isn't the PSEye better with more high quality images? HD?

I think the Eye is much better then the Eye Toy (I have both). You can really see and hear a difference when you are video chatting

my eye seems to have really bad picture quality.. I have dropped it loads of times though...

I use a Vision Camera, and I love the quality on it. It doesn't auto-focus(does the Eye do that?) but it's a great camera. Hopefully LittleBigPlanet doesn't limit which camera you can use it with, so I don't have to buy another one.

Yeah, the Eye does auto-focus...at least I'm 90% positive it does! I'm getting one today, mebbe.

the PSEYE has always been taking grainy pictures though...not to mention that it has a very short wire.... so you'll need to print the pictures to take a picture... (then again it could just be the EYECreate program)

Now maybe i'm just niave, and think MM and Sony would know better, but I don't think any of those quotes explicitly states that there is no importing from the HDD. It certainly implies that, but that could be more of Sony just trying to shove the pseye down our throats more than anything.

Going on that, they could purposely not give any information out about it, as to boost the Eye's sales beforehand, then to find out they actually do have it..

we can only hope that this isint true, but just incase, can i get that e-mail address to be another person to complain about it?

MM made a promise ( that i hope they'lle keep) they said if the players want it, we'll get it, they said that for water, and i'm sure they'lle say it for this. and lets hope they deliver!

No need to complain, or send them e-mails. I know for a fact they read through forums and everything, and it's been said thousands of times, so if they're gonna release it they will, they really don't need their inboxes full of complaining e-mails.

They never made a promise about giving us what we want, they just said they'll try to give us it. You've gotta remember, SONY want their EYE product to get as many sales as possible, so that's probably why they're leaving us in the dark on this.

If you wanted the email address that badly, you could easily find it, but I for one won't give you it just to send some mail which they'd consider spam, seeing as they'd read the suggestion hundreds upon thousands of times..

Just be patient..
