Man, what a great level! A truly wonderful ending to a favorite series by Mr. The Truth. As usual, everything looks awesome scenery wise, lots of cool sets, and the attention to detail is razor sharp. Gameplaywise, there's lots of challenge to be had in the platforming, and a unique puzzle involving a spinning picture. And then, toom toom toom, there's the Epic boss that always ends these adventures, and this one was just as fun and unique as all the rest. A real Nin ja turtle, haha.

    Here's a breakdown;

Story: 4 out of 5 stars. You made it so that you don't really have to know what happened in previous installments, but it's kinda simple if you don't know the backstory.

Graphics: 5 out of 5 stars. I great looking romp, with some excellent fantasy settings.

Gameplay: 4 out of 5 stars This would have gotten an easy 5 out of 5 stars, but a flat camera angle in the first area creates problems in the backlayers. You either can't tell you can go back there, or it won't register easily to make sackboy jump to the backlayer. This kinda broke up the flow early on, but it was all aces after that.
Originality: 5 out of 5 . The arcing story, sky setting, and huge boss battle easily make this level memorable.

    Overall: 5 stars and a

@kaiju-kid: Hey man thanks so much for the in-depth feedback!

Lol Glad you liked him! I had to trim him down the version in my head due to thermo, so I'm glad he still ended up being enjoyable!

I feel ya, looking back on it it isn't readily apparent. One of my testers actually said the same thing but I ended up forgetting it among my rising thermo panic. XD I'll keep an eye out for issues like that in future levels, thanks for pointing it out. =)

@valmassoi: I think I sorta glossed over the feedback you gave me earlier, so here's a proper reply for you buddy!

Yay! I'm glad the effect worked well! Gogo winches! The large pillars you run up for the race gate portion had to be put together very carefully ^_^ PSP needs an advanced glue option like LBP2. XD

I agree with you there That pesky thermometer is really frustrating sometimes. Initially the cave section was going to be significantly longer and I was planning a very pretty room in there, but I had to cut it to be able to squeeze in the race and the boss. T_T The intro area in the 2nd chapter actually took up nearly half the thermometer!

@The-Questor: Just like with Val I inadvertently glossed over your feedback! Here's your proper reply! =D

Yeah, I gave him some clothes. I feel like the expectations for character designs have been upped in the time since I released chapter 2, and it was kinda silly for Grandpa to be jumping around in the sky all naked and wrinkly. =) In the first speech bubble Grandpa apologizes for taking so long (launch delays =p)to be ready for the final ascent because he was looking for some decent clothing. =)

Same thing, now it doesn't match the other 2 levels in the series.
Thank you for pointing this out as a bad! I completely agree in retrospect, and have in fact changed it back to the original background. I thought the fantasy setting would be a cool backdrop, but it really interfered with the colors in the level through the different global lighting. So that part's all better now! =D

I'm glad you liked the platforming/boss/visuals! My testers had a bit of a problem with a few parts so I was a little worried about difficulty, but I hoped that true LBP players would appreciate it =)

@EVERYONE ABOVE: Thanks so much for the playing the level and sharing your thoughts on it! I really appreciate it, and am super glad you had fun with my little creation! I know the thread isn't labeled F4F, but I will do my best as my schedule permits!

    Hey SeekingTruth!
Sky Islands of Oneiros is absolutely the most beautiful saga in LBP PSP, not only by the exquisite visuals, but also by its nice story and a gameplay perfectly polished, and of course, the culmination of this saga could not be an exception.
What I have to say about this chapter? Nothing compared with the experience of playing it. This level talks by itself.
Your design of gameplay, although it follows the line of platforming and a final boss battle of your previous levels, feels fresh and nice to play. The final boss is fun and it is just hard enough.
Congratulations for getting a Spotlight, but even more for having such a brillian mind to make something like this.
Five BRILLIANT 's and a for your level.

wow, finally got around to playing it, great job! I'm a big fan of the series and havent been on the site or game much at all; this sure helped bring me back! I really loved the turtle and how its head shrank into the shell at the end; amazing job on the details! *****
My PSP broke, so I'm leaving the PSP side. See ya guys. My levels however will still be up.

Well, its been a while since i promised feedback so here it is!

This level was easily the best out of the Sky Islands series, the scenery was flawness and much improvement on the design of Grandpa Sack! The bosses were slightly hard but they were full of chicken wins and awesome sauce and i loved them so much. The gameplay was spectacular as well just getting better and better as you get through the level. This was definately the most challenging of the Trio but it was most certainly the most entertaining hands down It seemed much more sky islands as well than the others as i felt there was more platforming and discovery in the sky, even though all of it was in the sky anyway. The level seemed more spaced out and less claustraphobic than the second one but it was a nice thing to see!

Suberbly amazingly brilliant level!!! and a big islandy ....Can you get islandy hearts? Oh well, another great job!!!

Sorry for the late replies, I've been way busy lately and unable to check the site for a while!

@rOckalOvEer x73: Thanks so much for your feedback! I absolutely LOVE Hayal Dunyasai, it was exquisite mushroomy goodness! Thanks for the kind words, it means a lot coming from such an artistic creator!

@ricky3: Hey man! I'm glad you liked the turtle hiding, to be honest I originally wanted to do more with that but the thermometer, as per usual, limited my original vision. T_T Thanks for checking it out and coming back to leave feedback!

@Hellobob5: Thanks for dropping by again hellobob! I definitely wanted this one to be the hardest of the three, so that if you play them from Ch.1 it gets harder and harder as you go on. I'm glad you were able to appreciate the difficulty! Thanks for the amazing feedback man, the fact that you say things like "chicken wins and awesome sauce" it totally awesome sauce.

Just played your entire series. Very excellent! I can't think of a single bad thing to say. Easily in the top ten levels I've played. I especially enjoyed the bosses. I'm sorry, too, because now you have to change your picture to add another heart...
