Thread: Under the Sea

    Default Under the Sea

Hello, I'm here with my latest level, a recreation of the song "Under the Sea"! I created a little underwater cave to enjoy the music from. It's my second major attempt at a song with the sequencer, but I found making a gallery level hard for my first one. The level is quite short, and I would appreciate it if you gave it a play!

Bookmarked and queued. Will play soon.

Edit: Nice job Jaslow! You remade that song well. The one thing I would suggest is using more than one type of drum. The one big bass drum being hit over and over was a little repetitive.

I also like the scenery for the level. (I would prefer a scuba diving mask though. )

Nice job. Take a look at the level in my sig if you have the time. Thanks.

Like I said on the "In-Game" review, Spot on! You truly captured the right vibe with the surrounding environment. Anyone familiar with the Disney film will instantly recognize the tune. Great work!

If you could, please give my level a play sometime-
Information is in the signature, thanks!!

I can't say I'm one to enjoy Disney movies (I'm weird like that) but the song sounded good, and you're underwater cave looked good. The song was definitely too short though.

For F4F please play any one of my levels.

I believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose again on the third day to forgive us of our sins so we may go to heaven by faith in him alone.

    I FINISHED IT !!!!!!!

I came into this level with a friend who's a fanatic of old Disney movies. I hadn't heard the song in years, but this was able to make it all come back. My friend said the song was spot on as well.
    Pros
    - The song was amazing. Beautifully re-created
    - Great scenery and great use of the water.
    - Giving the prize bubble of the song is a major plus

You'll notice there's no con's. Simply put, I couldn't find any. You wanted to showcase your song, and you did it. The atmosphere only added to the level.
Once again, Great job with this one.

The scenery looked great, the lighting was really nice. However, the song (specifically, some chords in it) sounded a bit different from what I remember of that tune. Nonetheless, this is a great-looking level

For the F4F, could you review Sack Laser Deathmatch, please? Now please don't get scared off by the word "Deathmatch".. It's not a normal deathmatch. http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/sho...332#post741332

You can always talk about the visuals, and how well he rendered it in LBP2. It's about QUALITY, not QUANTITY.

Sheesh, some people are just too hard to please >.>

I'm not very good with music so I wont be able to give you any real constructive criticism here. From what I heard it was great, the environment was great too. I challenge you to get on the mic and sing along though ... okay maybe not, I had the singing part down myself anyway... :P
