Default Emit object glued/attached to a wall?

Is there a way to have an emitted object be permanently fixed to a wall as soon as it is emitted, rather than falling down? Turning the gravity off on the object wont work, because there is interaction with it after it is emitted.

    Thanks!

What I'm wondering is what kind of interaction? Will you be moving this object after it's emitted, or does your interaction with it consist of simply running/jumping/etc on it?
    Sackbotwins-Upcoming LBP2 level! (name undecided ;p)

Well, you could make it sticky, but I'm not sure how secure that'd be.
    Do you trust me?

Mostly running and jumping on. Also, I think I'm going to have other emitted object fall onto it. It will pretty much act like a floor.

Why exactly is it that anti grav wont work? With dampening 100% it's not going anywhere.

I suppose if the wall you want to attach it to is supposed to move at some point then it isn't a perfect solution. Otherwise you should be good.

If you always know where the object is going to end up, then I would do the following:

    • Put a microchip on it that has a tag sensor, a mover (the same color as the tag sensor) and a gravity tweaker wired to the output of the tag sensor.
    • On the destination wall (or on invisible holo near the destination), place the properly colored tag
    • Set the mover to a wide enough radius to detect the tag
    • But set the tag sensor to a very small radius (enough so it will trigger the gravity tweaker when it gets in place
    • Set the gravity tweaker to: Anti-grav=100% and Dampening=100%

Now when you emit, it will be drawn to the destination by the mover, and locked into place by the grav tweaker.

Would that work for your situation?
