    Default Simple timer issue

Ok so I have a timer hooked up to a player sensor right next to the level entrance, the aim is you view yourself for around 6 seconds then the timer activates a toggle which lowers an object grabbing you in your contained entrance bubble and lifting you up, and it works. But I want the object to then stop again when its at the top as it has a few more moves to do after that. Tried another timer with reversed output but its keeps the object active regardless of the 1st timer, what can I do? and also is there any way to perform the same up down timed movement with a pause at the bottom so that without a piston so the object can switch layers and move sideways afterwards?

Set the timer to activate a 1-Digit Counter, which will activate the object

So the grabbing thingie lifts up the container and moves you across or something?

Maybe have a few tag sensors which activate more pistons/movers to move you across or something, or if you want it to stop, move left/right then keep going up, put a tag sensor on something which can dissolve, which is connected to the lift piston.

Now it stops when you reach the tag. Then it moves, then once it's moved all the way the material dissolves so the tag sensor is no more and it keeps going up.

Of course there needs to be a tag on the cage or whatever it is.

    Hope that answered your questions.

You could try laying your logic out on a sequencer instead of using timers.

Activate sequencer...do nothing for six seconds...move up....do some other stuff...move some more.

    you get the idea.

  5. Thanks!

Yet again, tdarb's idea sounds best.

I'd try the sequencer thing first.

    (Why didn't I think of that? )

Apologies. I thought you meant you had the next steps solved, but was struggling to keep something active...

Yes, a sequencer is your right choice
