The classic game makes its way to LBP!
*UPDATE 2.0*
Changelog:
- removed ability to activate buttons while simon is showing the pattern
- fixed some button presses that were ignored by the system
- quicker patterns
- added indicator when it's the player's turn.
This is a truely random working simon, utilizing LBP2's logic tools to memorize and randomize patterns.
Please heart and review, I worked really hard on this!

I never expected this to look better than the SIMON I played as a kid but it does look AMAZINGLY AMAZING!
The music in time to the lights behind the buttons add tension to the game and the menu system looked cool. If I had to nitpick I was confused when I should start to press buttons as I kept failing right from the offset (perhaps a neon indicator somewhere to suggest my que for button inputs might help). However, I enjoy a bit of SIMON so I'll be back for more. Great work!
If you find time I'd appreciate a bit of feedback on my 'Dark heart of the Wood' levelLast edited by Tanuki75; 02-18-2011 at 12:10 AM.

This was really good and I enjoyed playing it although I lost pretty quickly.
It was a little confusing at first. There should be a signal like a light or something that tells you when its your turn.
The best part was the visuals and whatnot. The gameplay actually worked too, but it could use some improvements.
Great level!PSN: rhansen2

thanks, I'll try to add some kind of indication at least for the first couple of turns.I never expected this to look better than the SIMON I played as a kid but it does look AMAZINGLY AMAZING!

I want to press buttons faster!
But it works and it's pretty so "yay" for you.

So I answered the requests, and fixed some input bugs (such as you could activate the buttons while simon is showing the pattern, or when some inputs activated the button but were ignored by the system)
and a very nice indicator as requested:

Enjoy!

Brilliant. I have no idea how you did this but I'm sure the logic is really quite something! I managed 13 rounds before I messed up...
I like the presentation a lot. I loved the fanfare and the reveal at the start of the level, I had originally tried that with my Life level but couldn't find the room (the board takes up all three layers when in play) I'm glad to see that it works well!
Very nice, well done!
