I'm highly interested in getting a 3DS. But I think I'm gonna wait for the next version. I really don't have the money right now, I hear the battery life is crap, and not a lot of games I'm interested in are out except Nintendogs. Till then my DS Lite will hold me. I don't have portable games that much anyway. Knowing Nintendo I won't have to wait that long. How long was it after the DS launch that they released DS Lite?

so my 3ds shipped. i might as well state how i state what i think about the games.

super street fighter 4 3d edition: im terrible at fighting games but this is the one i played the most. its really fun but the 3d is hard to notice.

nintendogs + cats: pretty good. not exactly you should buy if you want something like an action game. the 3d's decent.

pilotwings resort: great. it has the best 3d out of all the launch titles but it will hurt your eyes if you play it too long apparently

ar games: not bad. i don't recommend using the 3d with it though because you have to move around a lot.

face raiders: good when it works. 3d is the same as the ar games.

Which future 3DS games are you looking foward to?

i was wondering what may be the next Nintendo handheld system after DS is over.

well i only have friends online, as i don't and never had any kind of friend in real life, i can trade with them
but so yeah I'd like something like what LBP1 to LBP2 import to make it far less hard.

The next Nintedo handheld after the DS is over is the 3DS. Eventually they'll stop making DS games, just like the conversion frm GBA to DS.

I won't get one yet, none of the games interest me. I have a feeling I'd mess around with the new stuff for a bit then go back to playing Pokémon Black. So I'll wait a bit. Maybe for my birthday, we'll see what it's doing then.

so it's not a new Nintendo handheld system yet, just a upgrade like DS to DS-lite, ETC~ *mew

3DS games will not work on any previous DS it's a new generation of hardware.

If you want to play a new pokemon game... that's correct. But just think of it this way--the next pokemon game will probably have way better graphics, way better features, be a lot more fun, and be in glasses-free 3D.
