Default Things That Make You Mad

Are there things you hate in this game?

I hate it when people don't change a Sackbot's animation style when it isn't a sackbot. They make irritating noises when they move, and they walk like they crapped themselves. And I hate how their heads spin when you slap them!

Cutscene that are one not pernamint swich triggered and they animate each time when you move to right spot, specially the long once. In beta that was a plague, but in relese it seems to be reduced.

I also hate bad spelling. "hey can u plz find my cat and i give u prize" "u die now" Stuff like that.
Remeber that LBP is international and there lot of people who are not good in english, i also use "plz" a lot and my gramma sux in general ;]
Tired of answering same questions from people.... answer them down on LBPWiki where everyone can see them!

I dont mind bad spelling or gramer, just as long as I can tell what it means. Like "finds ta switchs" i know tha i need to find a few switches to continue in the level. But good grammer and spelling does make a level look better.

I hate very good levels that are hard.
One example is Roller INC by Comphermc I love that level, but its so hard that the average player cant enjoy it. I see some good gameplay in it, but you dont notice it and the player is just trying not to die.

there are many more that everyone elce hates (H4h, bomb servivals... Ect...)

I find it annoying when you reach the scoreboard & finish a level, you get taken to a completely unrelated level because the creator doesn't realise that most players usually want to go back to their pods after completing a level and not be forced to play a level they don't want to play. So remember folks, keep your scoreboards and your level links separate.

Yep them level links get on my nerves too. I must say though, they are not as common as when the game first came out.
Bad spelling to me is a big No No.
A level with only a few checkpoints BIG No No.
Score bubbles the size of a house. (They should always be the size that MM gave them to you)
Ridiculously hard danger jumps that on your 93 go you finally make. Just because there is an infinite checkpoint next to it doesn't make it fun.
Stickers that have nothing to do with the levels theme splashed about all over the place.
The Crown! I want that Crown...

I could go on for pages about this... but I'll narrow it down to a few.

-Prize bubbles that you can't avoid. Especially in "Prize" levels. It's just stupid... stop doing it people!

-Prize bubbles that contain story mode items, or things from the creators level that anyone could make.

-Levels that don't give you a clear indication of where to go next.

-An excessive amount of camera's that focus in on where to go next. If you need that many camera's focusing on something that unlocked way off screen... you're doing it wrong.

-Levels that get Mm picked that are full of level links before you can even start playing anything. What's up with that!?

-Levels that get Mm picked that have nothing overly special about them at all and are just another platformer/retro-game/top-down/etc., when there ae so many levels out there that are more pick-worthy by people who aren't already well known or on Mm's "favourite people list".

-Levels that don't have checkpoints close enough to the point where it get's difficult and your chances of being killed are high, forcing you to replay a bunch of annoying bits to get back to that area... only to die again. Rinse and repeat.

-People who use sackbots as characters that are talking to us, and use the stock voices of characters from the game. It's horrible! If you have a mic, I'd rather hear you make an attempt to record something. If you don't... use subtitles only. Those voices provided are lame... and annoying!

-Levels that take other people's work and re-publish them in order to "share" with the community (when we all know full well they are doing it to get plays and hearts by riding on other's coat tails). Like the rash of FREE COSTUMES levels by that one kid on Un-Cool Pages right now. Seriously, he's got like 6 or 7 levels of costumes that could easily fit into one or two levels... and the costumes aren't even his (well... none of the good ones it seems)

Okay, I'm stopping now. Just thinking of all these goofs is getting me irritated.

Spam. Everywhere. You got trend spam(e.g the current costume levels), creator spam (where one creator takes up most areas of the top), Scam/Deal scam (e.g H4H and P4P scams), trolls and much, much more.
The problem is no one can be bothered to do anything about it.

    More things I hate:
Well, no one does this in LBP2, but in LBP1 I hated it when if you killed an enemy with a paintinator, they just dissolve. Come on, make it so it destroys their brain! It looks really stupid!

I also hate it when people give your Sackboy a voice. Especially a deep voice. I don't know why, but I just do.

And one of my least favorites out of everything I hate, DARK LEVELS. What's the point of playing if you can't even see?!

    ABUSING LEVELS.

It's really annoying, for example there are loads of abused levels like:
    shark survival
    bomb survival
    costume levels

    and I'm sure theres more.

Long intro-sequences. Especially if they are only used to display the name of the creator and the level name. Utterly pointless.

PS: That doesn't make me mad, but I do see it as a minor nuisance.

You could switch off the Pick up Community Prizes option...

    - Platforming obstacles that kill me for no particular reason. For instance when the floor just dissolves all of a sudden sending me down on top of a bunch of spikes.
    - Platforming obstacles that may seem easy to negotiate for the creator but that takes a lot of trial and error for someone playing it for the first time.
    - Sponge fastened with loose bolts. It can be a NIGHTMARE with a grappling hook. Even though MM has them in their story mode level doesn't mean that you have to!
    - Creators not bothering to cover up the entrance/controlinators with rubber forcing me to see a split second glimpse of some badly crafted dark matter border/floor.
    - Asteroids remakes
    - I second Rustbikkit's opinion about the gibberish voices. Eve's is just too much... "OYANNNDALLEEEEEE!!" Brrrrr...
    - The same that kept annoying me in LBP1 has carried over to LBP2, like horribly shaped wooden staircases, 1000 scorebubbles in one tight location causing crazy lag, cardboard sackboy cutouts with visible and poorly placed magic mouths filled to the brim with netspeak, dark/light matter used as anything else than an invisible support material or a canvas for stickers.

    The list goes on, really

But there is also a lot of stuff I like!

You sound like you dislike a lot of things there. Though I agree with a lot of them, some of them (see voice recording vs. stock voice section for example) seem a little... much. In this particular case, many people don't have mics they can use, or they're kids. In the case of the latter, I'd rather not hear them. Shrill kiddie voices tend to hurt my ears.

    - Teleport via gas.
    - Cheap deaths.
    - Invisible walls.
    - Thin gas.
    - Walking. Past scenery and titles. Yes your waterfall looks nice, but I'm not having any fun.
    - Slow vehicles.
    - Not introducing mechanics. Oh? I have to die in order to understand this contraption? FFUUU..
    - High hazard holes.
    - Checkpoints cut into thick layers.
    - Unglued checkpoints/powerups.
    - Grab sponge lifts that get stuck.
    - Long walks from checkpoints to the next obstacle.
    - Light lag.
    - Unskippable intros/cutscenes.
    - Not being able to replay important magic mouths.
    - Gas barrier instead of standard barrier.
    - 3D glitch platforms.
    - Spelling errors and censored magic mouths. "alot" isn't one word people!
    - Cameras that move mid-jump.
    - Leap of faith jumps which lead to death in levels that have hidden items/bubbles.

True, but there have been times when I've had it turned off and forgotten, and gone through a level to collect prizes that are actually useful (such as logic-most other prizes I can make myself and make them look better or the way I want them to look)... only to realize afterwards that I didn't collect anything at all. If people would just think about where they are placing things, it'd be a lot simpler.

Seem a little much? My only possible response could be... see thread title. These are things that tick ME off, not everyone. That's cool that your opinion differs from mine here. I'm not forcing anyone to think like me.
In this particular case, many people don't have mics they can use
(which is why I pointed out that they ought to use Subtitles instead)
, or they're kids. In the case of the latter, I'd rather not hear them. Shrill kiddie voices tend to hurt my ears.
Hurts mine too in some cases, but this game is about encouraging creativity and people having fun while doing it. I'd rather see people make an effort than be lazy and add repetative Character voices, or Gibbon's, or Angry Geese and all the other terrible sounds we were given to use as dialogue instead of keeping as sound effects. There's very few cases where it works to good effect, and only a handful of creators have done it well. Most of the time, it's just annoying. Just because you CAN do something... doesn't mean you should.

It just comes down to personal preferences and opinions really... which is what the OP is asking for.
