Default Moving something from background glitch to regular space during gameplay?

I thought I had read that it was possible to use in/out movers to move something from BG space into regular gamespace during gameplay. Can't get this to work though... help?

Hmmm... I have no idea how to do this either TBH! How far back is the object you want to move forward? I mean, you could just destroy it via a destroyed with the "disappear" effect, and have it emitted onto the other layer with the "appear" effect - I mean, this would create the right impression wouldn't it?

    What's the scenario?

Worked fine for me when I did it...I have chip with an In/out mover set to move to front or middle and a max radius tag sensor connected to it. Place the tag down and it worked fine for me. Hope that helps...

edit: The chip is directly on the object and not floatin in the back thin layer too if that even matters too.

You should be able to move from 3D BG layers to regular layers no problem (tho not from regular to glitched layers.)
What are the settings on your in-out mover?

  7. Thanks!

you could have a sequencer that emits the same object forward a layer (Grow) and then destroys the object (shrink)

    hope this help!

EDIT: Turns out this was the problem. The chips need to be placed on the object before it gets moved into glitch space.

Strangely move to front, back did not work (my object is 3 layers thick), however move to middle was the magic setting.
