Hey all, I know this is better off in the object showcase forum, but you can't tie your lbp.me to the title there so I figured I'd post it here. We all know this game has a lighthearted spirit, but there aren't as many serious, more morbid tracks in the game so I made versions of some of the darker tracks from old school rpg games that I know a lot of people around here love (myself included!). All the music tracks are available as prizes for your own use, if you like them or use them in your level please toss a heart my way
The tracks included are (real version is listed afterwards as a reference):
Dark World - FF6 [Dark World]
Pandemonium - FF9 [Pandemonium]
Mayfil - Legend of Dragoon [Mayfil]
Iifa Tree - FF9 [Iifa Tree]
The Dead Sea - Chrono Cross [The Dead Sea]
Memoria - FF9 [Memoria]
I'll update it every now and then, but my schedule is a bit hectic for the next week or so. If you have any suggestions for future tracks let me know! I'm thinking I'll probably do "The Great Crystal" from FFXII or "Trail of Blood" from FF7 next.

Tried it and absolutely loved the music. Final Fantasy IX is one of my favourites games ever and it was quite awesome to have those tunes in LBP. Thanks a lot.
Give a shot to my latest level http://lbp.me/v/0d2x0j if you can and leave feedback in the related thread (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/sho...ng-FU-Fighters).

Fantastic emulation of those great RPG tunes. One of the genres that is really suited to the sounds and instruments available on LBP2. I'm always in awe of people who have the talent to create music like this....I can't even whistle a tune. Hopefully I will be able to use a track or two in upcoming levels. I've already started dragging mates on to this great free gallery, very generous gifts. Hearted.

Hey roflwaffle, I'm glad you liked Emeria!
I checked out the level, really well done. The tunes were excellent, really great job! This is hardly worth mentioning but maybe have a player sensor set to change the doors direction instead of a button set to power. Then the doors would stay open while you are in front of them. But no big deal. As a big FFX fan I was a little sad but overall a great selection of tracks haha! Nice job and thanks for your level.

Thanks! Yeah I need more FFX stuff, I just finished the Temple of the Ancients from FF7 so I'll update it in a little, and I was actually thinking about doing Lulu's theme next.

Wow, this is very generous of you to give music you've recreated on LBP! Dark music too! I like!
I'm a bit iffy on publishing my own collection of songs I've recreated due to thieves and the like, so I admire your bravery.
Fantastic job on the recreations! Keep it up!
For when you have the time, would you play through any of my levels in my signature?
Any one of them is fine or you can play through all of them if you wish! Just be warned that Ninjas of Karura can be a bit difficult to get through, so you don't have to play through and leave feedback on that if you don't want to.
"To me, 'goodbye' means that I would never see you again. That's why I say 'see you later."
Looking for a world you could immerse yourself into?
Perhaps my levels can help you!

Can you do CastleVania?
Music like Bloody Tears, heart of fire, etc.

I'll try to, but it'll be a while if I do manage to get around to it, I have a few other requests to finish first so I'm spread thin. I never really got into Castlevania so I'll check those songs out.

Hi Roflwaffle,
Just gave your level a go..
I appreciate many types of music and yours on this level were great.. my fave 2 were 'to the place of the gods' and 'the dead sea', both of which reminded me of an old 80's movie Blade Runner...
Some of the tunes are quite chilled so may think about using one on a level I'm working on.
Thanks for the feedback you left for me.. your the first to comment on the music I chose. I wanted something calm but snappy, so the chilled drum & bass tune felt right somehow...
thanks again.Thread F4F - http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/sho...e-Logical-Wood
