Omg Sackbolt you are right! I saw that too XD but I'm sure no one can use it anyway.. can they? Ive seen him use it and he has a unique profile that allows him to do these glitches. So I would think only Hazbell or people that were in beta could do things like this... Anyone else made a plasma costume? ...Hmmm?

What I find even more confusing is why MM gave beta access to people whom they KNEW relish destroying this game. *sigh*

That's exactly why it was given to him. They probably figured that he of all people would be great a finding and reporting bugs.

Genius! That is actually really genius! But would you really want to risk losing your profile to finish couple levels?

No, I wouldn't use it. I hate acing, but I wouldn't bother messing with crazy glitches. With my luck, I'd create a worse glitch that was incurable or something.

Oh well, I'll ace those levels one day.

Because it Was gotten using the overlord glitch.
if I read it right the glitch turns your sack in to a object and lets you save odd stuff on to your sack.
that's how people are getting bubble emitters in the levels if i remember right or least something close to that.

With a side note on plasma costumes, it can kill other sacks as i have heard.

Hazbell has published a level with tools to protect your levels, idk if this was already posted but I didnt read above to much.

P.S.Does anyone know if the hazard costumes protect you from said type of hazard?

P.S.S. Yes, I know this is a thread on stoping the glitch, but does anyone know how to preform overlord? I want the costume.

Has anybody realised how dangerous this could be? Sure, if they blew up your pod you could reset the decorations, but what if someone joins and emits a lag virus into the pod? (A slow moving hologram object that emits itself really fast) It means that you could have a potentially corrupt profile. Whenver you start the game, it would freeze immedeately.

When you quit the game the pod resets itself automatically if it has anything that's not supposed to be in there(including outside of your pod, and resetting decoration also takes away stuff outside the pod aswell....

Again! This is yet ANOTHER example of Mm's sloppy implementation at work.
When you save your sackboy, there is NO REASON WHATSOEVER to save his character model, size, attributes etc. All you need to save are his costume pieces, popit colour and stickers/decorations. That's it! It's really rather simple. For some reason Mm have gone for a very general approach where they save EVERYTHING about sackboy, even if he's turned into an object or if he's been electrified or been shrunk or whatever. Glitches that could have been completely avoided had Mm not been sloppy:
- Wheel of death glitch from LBP1
- Naux glitch
- Thecx men glitch
- "spawn-pop cancer" glitch
- Overlord glitch
To be honest I have no idea what Mm are thinking and why they haven't eliminated the possibility of any of these glitches happening as soon as the wheel of death glitch was discovered. Sort it out Mm!! And don't simply patch this specific glitch, go right back to how sackboy is saved and rewrite it so it cannot possibly be abused.

Thor, MM can fix a few things about sackboy, but that will just make that one person try harder to get around that. Most things they cant fix until it becomes a problem

I've just logged on to LBP2, seems they've taken down the scoreboards for the time being, could it be something to do with this glitch?

You all know who discovered the glitch, right? Also how dangerous this can become, the overlord glitch is only the tip of the iceberg. More glitches are being found even as we speak.
