I know the title might sound like a how to concept. And it is!
Join Dr. Spongehead as he teaches you the concept behind making an ememy give more points when you kill it. Detailed instructions and demonstration of theory is shown, as well as a hand out demonstrating the lesson for today. Plus, things don't always go to plan. Humour may be involved in this lecture.
This is an actual level I've posted on LBP. I thought I'd make something which would help people make even better levels using one of the "tricks" I've learnt. If you want to see the concept demonstrated in a level, have a look at the liver section of "A journey through a digestive tract".
If you liked it and would like to see more levels, feel free to request and I'll see what I can do!
Please as well give any feedback on what you thought of the level itself, both good and bad.![]()

Elbee your freaking awesome! Checked out the level and the tutorial was great. The concept is so easy, yet so hard to come by. Brilliant work

I did a minor update to this a few days ago, making the layout and implementation of some of the systems run a bit smoother. It's still basically the same level though, it was mainly just a cosmetic update.
I've also changed the name from 'Elbee23's "How to..."' to 'Dr. Spongehead's "How to..."'. It sounds less arrogant, although it's an avatar talking about an avatar through an avatar, which is a bit trippy. Dr Spongehead is the name of the character who does all the talking.
I've also begun work on the sequel, "How to make permanant switches". I'm up to the middle room, which like this level, is the most complex. I've nearly got the middle rig set up, but the rough dialogue and layout for the level is already done on paper. It should be finished within a few days. Each level takes, maybe 8-10 hours from concept starting to finish build, but I won't be doing them every day.
Stay tuned for more episodes, and thank you all for the kind words!

Thank you for the complement.

I've started work on the third in the series, though there is no set order to them. It will be about Magic Mouths and some of the tricks you can do with them to make them work better.
The tentative title was "How to make a reliable multiple magic mouth system". But if you say that sentence out a few times out loud... well, it's a mouthful.
I'll put up a post for it when it's out. It will have something about magic mouths in the title though.
Maybe I'll call it something like...
"Dr. Spongehead's How to make many multiple magic mouths move magnificently!"

Well for some ideas, or inspiration on Talking Mouths, try out my level: Marazs Talking Tool.
It's a tool that lets you set up to 8 talking mouths to talk in sequence of a specific order. Hope that helps you, and you like it
