Default Is there a way for me to turn on my notification for when I get PMs?

Usually like a pop-up box. I have pop-up blocker, but I'd still see the mention of it being blocked on the top of my screen.

    Is this a feature?

    I didn't know because it's not a default feature.
    I've noticed a lot of people missing my PMs for days at a time even though they're constantly on. ;_;

If this was default, we'd get complaints about it being an annoyance. That's really their fault for not checking their PMs or enabling this feature on their own.

Yeah, a ****ed if you do, ****ed if you don't situation.

EDIT: I think it should be turned on by default. If a user has a problem, they can turn it off.
Otherwise I'm sending PMs to mods (MODS) who don't even know they have a PM...

Since you're referring to mods, I have to disagree. First of all, mods deal with a lot of PMs every day. I alone send and receive around 20 PMs a day, and that number is climbing as our userbase grows. Sometimes it just takes time for a mod to get back to you, and you have to deal with that. Plus, mods know to check their PMs. It's part of their job.

In short: I'm not enabling this by default.

    Okay.

You might want to try to be less.. I don't know.. condescending with your posts.

I'm just saying it's not hard to answer PMs since I ran a forum with 4,000 users...

    Just sayin'.

Thanks, and I'll be sure to not ask anymore questions since it's too much trouble apparently.

Sorry if I sounded irritated, but your post made it sound like you were hinting that my staff is incompetent. We spend a lot of time making sure we're doing the best job we can, and when you say that they don't know to check their PMs, it bothers me.

No. I would be blunt about such things.
I don't bother beating around the bush.

I'm sorry if my post inferred anything insulting.
The course of this thread is done though. No use going off-topic.
