based on my old project entitled "The FLAT Project" and now inspired by games such as Outland and Limbo I have decided to have another go building a level in which the entire thing takes place on one layer.
The reason I am starting again is not because I abandoned The Flat Project but is instead due to circumstances outside my control, a few months ago my PS3 was stolen along with a handful of games, one of which was LBP2. I got a new PS3 soon after but only rebought my game more recently and have had to play through the story again. This unfortunately means all the work I had done on The Flat Project and other levels has been lost...so I am starting again.
Here are a couple of screen shots of my LIP (Level In Progress)
hopefully nothing will prevent this level from being finished

Sounds interesting. Are you going to make your own music?

Ya I can't make music either, but it shouldn't be too hard to find someone to create a song or two for the level. I was just wondering what kind of soundtrack you were planning on using. I think like a 8-bit simple beat with only a couple of instruments. I mean the game only is one layer and looks like it only has two colors so that tells me the music would be simple and ambient.
I haven't played Limbo, but I played the outland demo and it was neat.

I may have to ask around then. Tho off the top of my head I think an 8-bit version of Sleepyhead would sound kinda neat for the level
